ISLAMABAD, January 14: Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate, the secretary general of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh e Jafariya has said that they will never ever hesitate in offering any sacrifice to fulfil their promise for the protection of belief, ideology, and the motherland. He said the “Hafta Ehad-o-Paiman” will be observed from 2-8 Rabiul Awwal as per the directives of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah and in connection with the concluding days of Aza which are being commemorated with the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (PBUH). He said Azadari is the biggest and most effective protest and the news about Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh e Jafariya taking part in long march during Ayyam Aza-e-Hussaini is misleading. These views are expressed by him while talking to the delegation of students that called on him under the leadership of Mukhtar S.O. Balochistan leader Mardan Ali Changezi.

Mazhar Ali Shah said that Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya has written letters to the President, the Prime Minister, the Chief Justice, Interior Minister, Governor, and Chief Secretary about the national demands asking them to accept the demands of the bereaved families of the martyrs of Quetta immediately so that the bodies of the martyrs could be buried with honour and respect. Any delay in accepting the same could prove extremely dangerously. He demanded from the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to take suo moto notice of the incidents of terrorism in Balochistan including the Alamdar Road incident and the government’s criminal silence on these incidents. He said none of the terrorists was punished and the poor investigation is blamed for it but like the Chief Justice took disciplinary action in Hajj scandal, NRO and other cases, similarly he should supervise the investigation process in the terrorism cases so as to punish the enemies of humanity accordingly. He said the Quetta incidents have shattered the whole country but the rulers are still unmoved.

The TNFJ leader made it clear that in Islam rather in all religions and nations there is utmost importance of Ehad-o-Paiman and this quality is respected by humanity. Giving reference about Surah Yasin of the Holy Quran, he said Allah Says: Oh, Bani Adam, Had I not take promise from you that you will not perform worship Satan because he is your open enemy and will worship Me, this is the straight path (the Siraat-e-Mustaqeem) which is Hussainiat. This, he said, proves that those who do not fulfil Ehad-o-Paiman they are men of Satan, and those who fulfil the promise are the men of Rahman. He appealed the countrymen to observe Hafta Ehad-o-Paiman which is being observed from 2-8 Rabi-ul-Awwal in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of the 11th inheritor of the Holy Prophet, Imam Hassan Askari (PBUH) and reiterate their resolve that they will not let anyone cause harm to the religion and Sharia that is commensurate with Hussainiat.

Meanwhile the TNFJ committee has been formed to organise programmes for the week. Dr. S.M. Rizvi has been nominated as convener, Muhammad Ali Shakir as deputy convener and Haider Abbas Bajwa as secretary of this committee.
