In Pakistan there is a rule of ignorance and terrorism instead of democracy; the Balouchistan government should resign – Hamid Moosavi

The stubborn rulers are governing Pakistan, let alone few thousands even if the whole of Pakistan has been murdered, they will not move from their places; Quetta should be handed over to the armed forces; the bereaved families who are grieving their dear ones, their demands should be fulfilled; insensitivity of the rulers is a grave national tragedy; targeted oppression should be launched against the banned organizations; wish that the chief justice should also take the notice of bloodshed of the innocent people; the banned groups are registered with new names with the election commissions, where is the restriction? Till 8 Rabiul Awwal we are giving preference to the grief of Imam Hussain (PBUH), the government should not push us to take hasty steps; taking responsibility after any incident of terrorism by some organization is merely a whitewash; the public should take steps for their safety and form check-posts themselves; in front of national unity, terrorism will never be able to take stand – Address of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi on the concluding day of Hafta e Azmat e Mustafa O Mujtaba (PBUT)

ISLAMABAD, January 13: The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that ignorance and terrorism are ruling Pakistan instead of democracy and the Balochistan government should resign for its failure in providing protection to the people. We are giving priority to the grief of Imam Hussain (PBUH) till 8 Rabiul Awwal therefore the government should not force us on taking any right step and our patience and forbearance should not be taken as our weakness. The government insensitiveness on bloodshed of Pakistani citizens is a national tragedy, the demands of the bereaved families of Alamdar Road incidents should be fulfilled; Quetta city may be handed over to army; targeted operation should be carried out against banned terrorist organisations. Wish that the chief justice should also take the notice of bloodshed of the innocent people. Claiming responsibility by some organisation of any incident is a farce, rulers are insincere, if Sri Lanka can root out terrorists then why not Pakistan, people should arrange for their protection themselves, set up posts in cities, villages and towns and arrange for neighbourhood watch groups, the terrorists could not stay before the people’s alliance. The Holy Prophet of Almighty Allah (PBUH & HHP) bore difficult moments at the hands of atheists in Makkah and Madinah and the grandson of the Holy Prophet, Imam Hassan (PBUH) presented his life for the restoration of Allah’s justice system. These views were expressed by him while addressing the Majlis in connection with the death anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hassan (PBUH) on the concluding day of “Hafta-e-Azmat Mustafa and Mujtaba”.

Agha Moosavi said where there is democracy in countries, the rulers resign even on mere incidents and tragedies but Pakistan's rulers are stubborn and they do not take any effect of anything. He said more than 50,000 people have been targeted, hundreds of thousands are injured or are incapacitated, compensation is announced for the affected families but is never materialized. The crop of terrorists sown by worst tyrant ruler of the history, Ziaul Haq is growing and becoming unbearable. He said the nation would have to express unity and brotherhood against terrorists. If the citizens of Pakistan desire peace then they would have to arrange for their protection themselves, they should keep in touch with their representative organization and centre of their schools of thoughts instead of talking about regionalism and biases. Do not make their separate entities, the enemy is busy in divide and rule, in these circumstances, the patriotic people of the country would have to adopt the policy of becoming united and defeating the enemy. Had the people remained attached with their centres (Markaz) then not only Pakistan rather the whole Islamic World and humanity would have been seen protesting in favour of the oppressed. The only way we can defeat terrorists is if we handle incidents and tragedies humanely. He lamented that the media has adopted a strange policy towards those - not only is the news of their representatives suppressed so too is all mention in any aspect of the Media; in the editorial of one of the daily newspapers the denouncing of terrorism by all parties, schools of thought and sections of society was mentioned but the point of view of Maktab e Tasheyyo was ignored in a manner as if they did not exist, which is contrary to the norms of journalism and justice.

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that if the rulers are sincere no one dare to do anything wrong and if they want to catch the criminals then they go to any length and fetch them back from far and remote places, but those who have given blood bath to the whole of the country are roaming about freely and no one is there to stop them; where is the Anti Terrorism Act? Three dozens banned groups have formed their political parties and registered them with the election commission; where is the restriction? The TNFJ chief said the terrorists are ruling from Karachi to Gilgit and from Peshawar to Taftaan, conditions are becoming worst and innocent people are being punished for their love to the motherland and because of their poverty. He said that the government of Balouchistan has no sense of responsibility towards the safety of the public; in the incident of Mastong the buses full of pilgrims were targeted but the government did not move; against the wishes of the bereaved families the bodies of the martyrs were sent to Rawalpindi through a plane which are still lying helpless in the mortuaries of the Holy family and District Hospitals. there is no day go by without terrorism when bodies of innocent are not drenched in their own blood. On previous day the heinous act of terrorism occurred in the Swat Tableghi markaz, Karachi and Quetta which have moved whole of the country but nothing happened to the federal and provincial rulers. The journalists, security personal and volunteers including dozens of workers of the Tehreek Nafaz e Fiqh e Jafariya kissed martyrdom. He said the bereaved families of the Hazara tribe which are being targeted day in and day out are staging sit-in at Alamdar Road along with the bodies of the martyrs but their demands are not being met. He said the Governor has expressed his inability and if so then why not he resigns? He said that the chief minister is missing but in his absence the governor should have taken care of the bereaved families which he didn’t. He said that the officials of all the political parties are untouched by the plight of the families of those affected by terrorism; all are relying on lip service.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said there is a saying of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) that carrying justice is the divine tradition and is the strength of the governments, carry out justice and fair play so that you stay in power for long; at another place he (PBUH & HHP) said that if the ruler commits justice, even he is infidel still his governments exists but if the ruler is Muslim, and commits oppression on his public, then his government fails to exist for long. The master of the universe, Imam Ali Ibne Abi Talib (PBUH) said, "Justice is the asset of the society and ornament of the rulers, one who will do justice will get increment in his dignity and power, one who will spread justice in cities, Allah will shower His blessings on him". Agha Moosavi said there is a saying of Imam Ali Al Raza (PBUH), "doing justice and favour is the source of life for any nation", therefore, the chief justice for whose restoration the whole nation played a comprehensive role, should take notice of the terrorism since the Zia era, should set up an enquiry commission and save the nation and the country. The world is a temporary abode, one should also think of the Hereafter as no one will remain alive except the Almighty Allah. He should keep the saying of the master of the universe, Imam Ali Ibne Abi Talib (PBUH) in view, "keep attached with people in a manner that when you are alive they desire to meet you and if you leave this world they shed tears for you".

(PBUH & HHP): Peace be upon him and on his holy progeny

(PBUH): Peace be upon him/her

(PBUT): Peace be upon them
