RAWALPINDI, January 7: The programs of Hafta e Mustafa (PBUH & HHP) o Mujtaba (PBUH) – as per the announcement of the headquarters of Maktab e Tasheyyo, in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hassan Al Mujtaba (PBUH) and death anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH & HHP) - commenced on Sunday. On this occasion Matami processions and Majalis e Aza were held throughout the world as well as in the motherland. These processions and Majalis were organized by various religious and mourning organizations in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

A Majlis e Aza for ladies was held under the auspices of Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam, Ummul Banin WF, Girls Guide and Sakina Generation at Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad. Khatiba Nuzhat Naqvi while addressing to the Majlis said that Hazrat Zainab, the daughter of Imam Ali (PBUH) is the protector and propagator of the mission of Imam Hussain (PBUH) who played a vital role during the battle of Karbala; the historian considered her a lion hearted woman and the warrior of Dushta e Naenawa (another name of Karbala). She said that after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (PBUH), the daughter of Imam Ali and Hazrat Batool (PBUT) destroyed the shape of King ship through her eloquent and farsighted sermons after which nobody dared to ask for the allegiance. She said that Sani e Zahra (PBUH) (one of the title of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH)) is the guardian of the mission of Imam Hussain (PBUH) as well as the trustee of the blood of Imam Hussain (PBUH).

Nuzhat Naqvi said that during captivity from Karbala to Kufa and from Kufa to Shaam, Hazrat Zainab despite having her hands tide with rope and experiencing other hardships of captivity did not hesitate to raise the voice of truth and with revolutionary spirit while completing the mission of Imam Hussain (PBUH) elevated the standard of Islam. She said that the family of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) is that great family whose love is obligatory upon every one as per the teachings of the Holy Quran and it is considered to be the reward of the Prophethood.

Nuzhat Naqvi said that Imam Hussain (PBUH) is the point of unity for the whole universe and the path of Imam Hussain (PBUH) is the key to success in this world and the world hereafter. She said that the Prophets of Almighty ALLAH and infallible Imams (PBUT) take pride in the pious character of Imam Hussain (PBUH) because there is no one other than Imam Hussain (PBUH) who sacrificed so many lives in one day for the protection of Islam while fulfilling the responsibilities bestowed upon him by All mighty Allah. She further said that peace treaty of Hudaibia became the basis to conquer Makkah, while peace treaty of Imam Hassan (PBUH) became the basis of victory of Karbala. She said that in order to end oppression, brutality and injustice in today’s world, it is imperative to practically follow the pious character of the Holy Family of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUT). Syeda Binte Mousa Moosavi, Shehar Bano Naqvi, Mohtarmaand Amna Batool also addressed the Majlis while Anjum Nighat and Shugufta Bangash presented Marsia Khawani. To conclude the Majlis, the replica of the coffin of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) was brought out in the ladies Majlis and Matamdari was performed.

A Majlis e Aza was held at Takiya Sain Inayat Hussain Jafri Rawalpindi. Moulana Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi while addressing to the Majlis said that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) introduced peace, harmony and highest of humanity to the dark, lawless and inhumane world. He said that Islam is the religion of peace and it neither oppresses nor supports the oppressor. He stressed that Imam Hassan Al Mujtaba (PBUH) did a great favour to the Muslim world by following the footsteps of his grandfather Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and saved the Muslims from the evil of war by making the truce of Madina, therefore, it is a must to follow the holy character of Imam Hassan Al Mujtaba (PBUH) to put an end to the current terrorism. Allama Syed Waqar Hussain Naqvi, Zakir Mujtaba Mubarik and other speakers also addressed the gathering. Matamdari was carried out to conclude the Majlis.

Majlis e Aza was observed at main Imam Bargah e Qadeem Rawalpindi. Mourning procession of Alam and Zuljinah was brought out from Imam Bargah, which after passing through its designated route concluded at the Imam Bargah e Qadeem.

Another Majlis e Aza was organised by sons of Agha Jafar Zaidi (late) at Imam Bargah Zainul Abideen (PBUH). Allama Ijaz Hussain Mudaris addressed to the Majlis. After wards Matamdari was carried out in which several Matami Sangats participated.
