The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya, Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi participated in the processions, performed Ziarat of the taburrakaat and took part in Matam Dari.

The participants of the procession carried out Zanjeer-Zani and Qama-Zani in Trunk Bazar, Habib Bank Chowk and turned into a big rally after reaching Fawwara Chowk where addressing the participants, the Central Secretary Information of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan, Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said Arbaeen-e-Hussaini is the memory of the captives of Karbala’s (PBUT) commitment and courage which devastated the foundation of Yazidi courts through their visionary and heart-rending addresses, despite being chained,  to highlight the objective of Hussainiat. He said that the eternal life of Islam is a result of the sacred sacrifices of the progeny of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUT). He said that the terrorists couldn’t deviate us from the path of Imam Hussain (PBUH); the mourners of Imam Hussain (PBUH) should pay their condolences to the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) by participating in processions without fear. Chaudhary Mushtaq Hussain, N H Naqvi, Qazi Mazhar Hussain and Zakir Hassan Raza Kayani also addressed to the participants of the procession.

The leader of the TNFJ Syed Abu Nasam Bukhari presented resolution, which were approved unanimously by the participants. While presenting resolution Abu Nasam said that at this moment the whole of Pakistan is bleeding and is also facing problems and difficulties in which the terrorism is the biggest of all that has reached to its peak. After the founder of Pakistan, the Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Pakistan was ruled by those who preferred their own dignity and honour instead of increasing the dignity and honour of Pakistan; they were also busy in securing their domination and are still busy in doing the same; the problems faced by the common people are increasing day by day so much so that the every day items have become out of the reach of the public, some of them even do not have shelter; these politicians and the rulers are responsible of this dilemma. In the resolution the incidents of terrorism in Mastong, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta and Rawalpindi were condemned and was reminded that the chief justice of Pakistan who takes notice of the problem faced by anyone but why is he silent on the terrorism which has made the life of the public unbearable, and every house of Pakistan turned into mourning place, there is hue and cry everywhere. Many a time we appealed to him and once again we are requesting to the chief justice that for the sake of this wounded nation, and bleeding country he should take notice of terrorism and terrorists because this is your last year in the office. In the resolution the government was demanded to implement on the Anti Terrorism Act and if there is any loophole in the Act then it should be removed so that the cancer of terrorism may be removed; the banned organizations must be dealt with iron hand and the criminals behind all the incidents of terrorism must be brought to justice. In another resolution a grave grief was expressed over the holding of the cricket match on the occasion of Chehlum and it was mentioned in the resolution that these types of steps are against the objectives of the creation of Pakistan; these days are respected by non Muslim as well and disassociating with the sacrifices of the Holy Family of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) is equivalent to forgetting their favours. In another resolution the Day off announced by the Sindh government was highly appreciated and it was demanded that other provinces should have followed the same example. In the resolution the grief was expressed that those ministers, their aids and the prime minister who visit shrines, occasion of Uras, Gurdawarey, Mundar and Churches why do they not attend mourning assemblies of the grandson of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), Masajid and Imam Bargahas? Why do they not participates in the processions of the master of the martyrs of Karbala (PBUH) while the followers of all the schools of thought, non Muslim, Hindu and Christians all observed the remembrance of Imam Hussain (PBUH) and participates in the processions of Imam Hussain (PBUH). In the resolution it was made clear that there is no grief important then the grief of Imam Hussain (PBUH) therefore until 8 of Rabi ul Awwal, while following the code of Azadari presented by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, participation in the programmes of Azadari will be ensured.

Later, participants of the main Chehlum procession performed Zanjeer-Zani in Raja Bazar. Zuljinah processions taken out from Imam Bargah Sheehdane Karbala Tyre Bazar and Darbar Shah Chan Chiragh also merged into the main procession at Purana Qila. The main Chehlum procession terminated at Imam Bargah Qadeem after passing through Jamia Masjid Road and Imambara Chowk. Mukhtar Students Organisation setup Markazi Azadari Camp at Fawwara Chowk during the main Chehlum procession where special arrangements for Sabeel-e-Hussaini were made. Volunteers of Ibrahim Scouts, Mukhtar Force, Civil Defence, office-bearers of District Azadari Committee of the TNFJ, officials of the District Administration and a heavy contingent of police remained with the procession throughout.
