RAWALPINDI, January 4: The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the unmatched sacrifice presented in Karbala by the grandson of the Holy Prophet, Imam Hussain (PBUH) for the protection of human dignity and to provide protection to the dignity of Sharia of Muhammad preaches a lesson to the mankind. These views were expressed by him while talking to media representatives during the central procession of Chehlum Syed-us-Shuhada. He said the importance of Chehlum is not lesser than Ashoor Shuhada-e-Karbala as the Chehlum (Arbaeen) is the symbol of sacrifices rendered by Sharikat-ul-Hussain Syeda Zainab (PBUH), Imam Zainul Abideen (PBUH) and the captives of Karbala (PBUT). On Ashoora, the mission of Imam Hussain (PBUH) was completed but the journey of Sharikat-ul-Hussain (PBUH) began. The pious ladies of the houshold of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) were forced passed the streets and Kufa and Shaam on bare-backed camels and without the veil (chaddar) who delivered heart-rending addresses in these streets and in the courts of Yazid and Ibne Zayad shattering the foundation of Yazidit. The tyranny and Yazidiat are still afraid of Zainab (PBUH) and Zainul Abideen (PBUH) and whole humanity is thankful to them.

Agha Moosavi said Pakistan is the only country in the world created in the name of Islam and is now target of oppression and brutality and none of other countries had to face such a situation. He said the terrorism began under the patronage of Ziaul Haq and Ihsan Illahi Zaheer and Allama Muhammad Jafar Naqvi were the first target of it and the situation has reached the present situation. He said they had presented their point of view in the very beginning that a terrorist keeps no Maslak rather he is only a terrorist and should be seen in that context while linking terrorism with any Maktab itself is terrorism. He said it is war of a few groups being fed on foreign aid and linking it with Masalik is not a right step. The war of other nations is being fought on the Pakistan soil, he added.

The TNFJ chief said that it seems that the interests of politicians and rulers are a hurdle in rooting out terrorism and is the need of the rulers and the politicians to as to cover their own inabilities the fresh example of which is three public meetings held recently in Sindh, Karachi, and Lahore. He said the nation helped restored the position of the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary, got the excesses against him remove but the Chief Justice is keeping silence on the excesses being committed with the country and the nation. He has been requested many a time that when commissions could be formed immediately on other issues then why not on rooting out terrorism and probing the same.

Answering a question, Agha Moosavi said peace with terrorists is a good thing but it should be on the basis of equality. It should also be clear that with whom such dialogues will be held, there should be someone in front and who will guarantee the same. Murders and arson are actually the murder of Pakistan that has been given a bloodbath, who will be accountable for all that. Therefore, he said, no step should be taken without taking the people into confidence. He said all those powers in whose eyes Pakistan, the only Islamic atomic power and citadel of Islam, has been a mole, desire to break down this citadel. He made it clear that India had not been a favoured nation nor it be so unless the long-standing issues of Kashmir, river waters and Siachen are resolved. He said India exploited the Bombay incident and made big hue and cry all over the world but the incident of Samjotha Express in which hundreds of Muslims were burnt has been erased from memories. Our government should have taken this incident to the International Court of Justice but they didn’t, he added.

The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that both the central and provincial governments expressed negligence viz. Mastung incident and the bodies belonging to Sindh, central and southern Punjab has been despatched to Rawalpindi so as to get themselves rid of the situation and now the bereaved families were wandering about helpless. However, he said the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya is doing whatever they can to take care of them. He said the terrorists were not making any difference between Sunnis and Shias as both these sects were targeted in the terrorists incidents of Quetta, Karachi, Dhoke Syeda Rawalpindi, D.I. Khan, Peshawar. Therefore, he added, the whole nation should unite to confront these terrorists.
