The supreme court should also determine punishment for those responsible of the Quetta incident - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, February 23: The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the Supreme Court accusing the higher government leadership of Quetta incident means that the responsibility of earlier incidents also lay on the rulers of that era, the apex court should also determine punishment for those responsible. This was stated by him while delivering his address at a special Mehfil on the conclusion of International Ayyam-e-Askari here on Friday.

Agha Moosavi said the a statement issued by the spokesman of the Pak Army on the media proves that the army can take over the control under the Article 245 of the Constitution but it seems that rulers themselves not desire to convert Balochistan into Amnistaan. He said had the army been called under the above stated article for restoration of peace in Quetta then the tragic incidents would not have taken place including the current tragic incident and the condemnable activities of internal and external activities could had been stopped, therefore, he said, our demand to hand over the control of Balochistan-Quetta and Sindh-Karachi for restoration of public peace to the army so that the continued incidents of murder and blood shedding is stopped and peace is restored.

The TNFJ chief said the reason of denial of any contact by the Pak Army’s spokesman with the banned parties is cases against some people in the army had been registered for their alleged contacts with the banned groups. He said the army leadership should take strict action against such elements so as to prove any wrong impression against this holy institution wrong. He called upon the chief of the Army Staff to talk to the President and the Prime Minister himself for taking action against terrorists and carry out a decisive operation against the terrorist till final success so that people could take a sigh of relief.

Agha Moosavi in his reaction on signing of Fair Trial Bill 2013 by the President said had they done this job in the beginning of their government instead of doing it in the dying stages, the uncountable lives of innocent citizens could then have been saved. Anyhow, he added, the necessary laws should be implemented in letter and spirit and that could be done only when the implementation agencies implement the decisions of the judiciary. He called upon the government to raise the issue of terrorism at the United Nations immediately and made it openly clear that foreign secret agencies are involved in incidents of murder and terrorism being carried out in Pakistan. Therefore, there was need to take action against them under the international laws.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi that the 11th inheritor of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP), Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (PBUH) faced gaol to enlighten the candle of Monotheism and the Prophethood during his era spread over 28 years and proved on the atheist world that like our forefathers presented sacrifices for the supremacy of religion and Sharia, similarly they can also kiss death but could not bow down their heads before the evil forces. He reiterated his resolve to continue his peaceful practical struggle in supporting the oppressed world and expressing hatred against the oppressors.

(PBUH & HHP): Peace be upon him and on his holy progeny

(PBUH): Peace be upon him/her
