The attack on the holy shrine is an attack on the Holy Prophet and his Holy Progeny (PBUT) the purpose of which to agitate the Muslim nation so that it can be targeted; it is the completion of the colonial agenda of wiping of the Holy Signs; the Muslim rulers should protest against the insult of the Holy Shrine; the religious institutions will be closed during the days of grief

ISLAMABAD, February 13: The Quaid e Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has strongly condemned the destruction of the dome and tower of the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Sakina (PBUH) in the terrorist attack by terrorists in Damascus, Syria and announced a three-days mourning on this tragic incident. In a statement issued here he said the attack on the holy shrine of Shaheeda-e-Zindaan Hazrat Sakina (PBUH) by mortars is actually an attack on the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and the Holy Progeny (PBUT) in which those powers are involved that had put the Al-Quds Al-Sharif on fire and had caused damage to it, desecrated the shrines of Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani and Imam Abu Hanifah in Baghdad, razed the holy shrine of Imamin Al-Askareen (PBUT) in Samrah and desecrated the shrines of Abdullah Shah Ghazi, Hazrat Data Ganj Buksh, Bari Imam, Sakhi Sarwar, Rehman Baba in Pakistan and Dargah Hazrat bal in Kashmir. These anti-Islam forces, in the garb of Muslims like Banu Ummayad, desire to wipe out the holy signs of the pious personalities of Islam misusing the name of Islam and fulfil the colonial agenda by causing harm to the Islamic World.

Agha Moosavi said earlier desecration of the Holy Quran was committed, insulting images of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) were published and blasphemous movie was made so as to infuriate the feelings of the Muslim Ummah, get them enraged to achieve their target of finding an excuse to interfere in the Muslim states. He called upon the Muslim World to become the symbol of protest against the terrorist attack on the holy shrine of Hazrat Sakina (PBUH) and condemnation resolutions should be adopted in mosques against this satanic activity. He demanded from the United Nations to take immediate notice of this oppressive act and get the incidents of terrorism stopped in Syria. Had the powers patronizing terrorism in Syria were not checked then other holy places can also come under attack. He called upon the OIC to summon an emergent meeting; the Muslim rulers should not only stage protest in their States rather they should raise this issue immediately at the United Nations and get the holy shrine of Bibi Sakina (PBUH) reconstructed.

The Quaid e Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said had the signs of Mashaheer-e-Islam were not razed to ground, by Muslim states, particularly in the brotherly Islamic country Saudi Arabia then no one would have the courage to do so today. He said terrorism at the shrine of Bint-e-Hussain (PBUH) is an insult of humanity and Sharia. He said the elders of the captive of Shaam, Hazrat Sakina (PBUH) achieved supremacy of Shariat-e-Muhammadi by kissing Shahadat in the battle of Karbala. The Masooma Bibi (PBUH) along with her mothers and sisters experienced the difficulties of imprisonment and ultimately kissed martyrdom. We pay our condolences to the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and Imam-e-Zamana (PBUH) on this incident of desecration of her shrine and announce our commitment not to hesitate from offering any sacrifice for the honour and dignity of the pious personalities of the religion an Sharia, supremacy of the Islamic World and integrity and solidarity of the motherland Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Agha Moosavi has formed a TNFJ committee to organise protest programmes for the three-day mourning. Abbas Jafri has been nominated as convener, Malik-e-Ashtar as secretary while Malik Ali Furqani will be the deputy secretary of this committee.
