The execution of Afzal Guru is a slap in the face of coward Pakistani rulers who are declaring India as the Most Favoured Nation - Hamid Moosavi

The rulers should display courage instead of being cowards in front of Indian rulers; The national cohesion should not be put on stake; We would not allow anyone to turn Pakistan into a sectarian, racial and lingual state come what may; a function of Youm e Tajdeed-e-Ehad held at the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tasheyyo that was organised on the completion of 29 years of election of Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi as a Quaid in All Pakistan Shia Convention held on 10 February, 1984

RAWALPINDI, February 10: The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said the execution of Afzal Guru is a slap in the face of coward Pakistani rulers who are declaring India as the Most Favoured Nation. Decision to execute innocent Kashmiri Muslim to satisfy the conscience of India people has unveiled the Indian secularism. Had the cases of Pakistanis and Kashmiris from Indian occupation of Kashmir, Hyderabad, Junagarh to the execution of Maqbool Butt, occupation of Siachen, marine aggression were referred to the world nations then we would not have to see these days. The rulers who are hitting their people hard should not become cowards in front of Indian rulers and display courage. The national cohesion should not be put on stake and putting up candidates for elections in the garb of sect, language, creed and biases is tantamount to inviting death. We would not allow anyone to turn Pakistan into a sectarian, racial and lingual state come what may. Poor Matmi Azadars and the unity and brotherhood of Sunni-Shia brethren are behind the successes of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya. These views were expressed by him on the occasion of Youm Tajdeed-e-Ehad gathering of elite of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya and its subordinate bodies at the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tasheyyo that was organised on the completion of 29 years of election of Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi as the leader in All Pakistan Shia Convention held on 10 February, 1984.

Agha Moosavi in his address on the occasion said, when the load of leadership was put on our shoulders, a dictator had announced to make Pakistan a sectarian State and seeds were being sown to pitch brother against brother and fan lingual, sectarian biases. Restrictions were already imposed on Milad-un-Nabi and Azadari processions by amending the Police Act. But by the Grace of God, Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya thwarted their designs by courting 1,400 arrests from its platform as a result of which the motherland is Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and Milad-un-Nabi and Azadari processions are being taken out will full enthusiasm. He said the lack of manpower and resources could not create hurdle in achieving their objectives.

The TNFJ chief said efforts were made to turn Pakistan into an Islamic State by adopting the first consensus constitution of the country in 1973 but after only four years of its adoption the country was pushed into tyranny and the designs of that dictator were unveiled when he announced to turn Pakistan into a sectarian State. As a result of his Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya came into being and started its peaceful protest by taking over the Pakistan Secretariat declaring on the dictator that no power on earth will be allowed to trample the Pakistan’s Nazria-e-Asaasi. He said we thwarted the conspiracies of promoting hatred on every occasion whether it is a Private Shariat Bill or electoral politics in the name of Maktab, Maslak or language. He said they always given preference to Islam and Pakistan and would continue to do so.

Agha Moosavi said the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya has presented it point of view 30 years ago that a terrorist keeps no religion, Maslak or a country, therefore, all steps should be taken over and above such things and today this point of view is also being supported by the United Nations. He said the TNFJ has the honour of present 800-page Moosavi Peace Formula to the then Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah that carried proposals to root out terrorism and in the light of that formula, restrictions were imposed on those parties that were involved in incidents of terrorism, arson and murder.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi was presented bouquets by the TNFJ delegates, Ulema and workers on completing the 29 years of leadership and reiterated his resolve to offer any sacrifice required from him.
