Pakistan is on the mercy of terrorists and Karachi has been turned into a slaughter house - Hamid Moosavi

The incidents of target killings including Shahadat of Nimazis in Hangu and gory murder of Banori Town ulema have unveiled the claims of the rulers - Address of the Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah on the Chehlum of Shuhada e Ayyam e Aza

ISLAMABAD, February 02: The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that whole Pakistan is on the mercy of terrorists and Karachi has been turned into a slaughter house, country has reached at the brink of disaster, target killings incidents including Shahadat of Nimazis in Hangu and gory murder of Banori Town ulema have unveiled the claims by the rulers while the statements issued by some ministers were adding fuel to the fire. The rulers should adopt and disciplined policy to overcome terrorism otherwise this fire would not spare anyone, the books written by retired Generals are becoming the source of strength for enemies. Pakistani politics lack understanding, politicians and political leaders should not defame motherland to cover up their inabilities. India that is stoppings water of Pakistani rivers and occupying Siachen and Kashmir is being proved innocent. America has become upset on handing over of Gwadar Port to Chinese firm and the Pak-Iran gas pipeline project and is interfering in the national affairs of Pakistan that is tantamount to attack on our autonomy, an institution be set up for the help and rehabilitation of those affected by terrorism, terrorists are enemies of Shias and Sunnis all but the enemy could not create rift amongst the citizens of Pakistan despite its all efforts, all Makatib will thwart all conspiracies of enemies of religion and motherland through displaying unity and brotherhood. This was stated by him while addressing the mourning gathering here at Jamia Al-Murtaza on the occasion of Global Chehlum of Shuhada of Ayyam-e-Aza.

Agha Moosavi said, at present motherland Pakistan was surrounded by internal and external enemies and every part of its body was bleeding. On one side international colonial powers have made it their habit to keep their permanent pressure on it and let no chance go waste to cause harm to it the fresh example of which is continuation of Drone attacks despite restoration of Nato supplies and our rulers did not gather courage to take up this issue at the international fora rather some important leaders of the colonial powers were themselves raising this issue by declaring these attacks as aggression. Our rulers, on the other, were anxious in declaring India the Most Favoured Nation who is utilizing all her energy in defaming Pakistan and is completely involved in incidents taking place here. Thirdly, Pakistan has been put on the frontline despite playing the role of a frontline ally against terrorism as we have not only sacrificed more than 50,000 lives rather financial losses in trillions. Fourthly, our monetary jugular vein Karachi has been profusely damaged and the fresh statements of some ministers were adding fuel to the fire.

The TNFJ chief said the importance of Balochistan has been increased further owing to Gwadar that is laced with different minerals including gold and silver that is why in addition to other agencies, Indian agencies also roam about there and their open interference was still going on. He lamented that the American media becomes the cause of humiliation for Pakistan by issuing new issues to support their Indian agents and people keep quiet after putting the whole blame for any worse situations on Pakistan. He said American electronic and print media is in habit of giving anti-Pakistan news openly that shows that they accuse Pakistan for whatever they so desire. He said some of circles welcome such accusations and start their criticism on that basis. He asked such elements that whether as a nation we are not responsible to give tit-a-tat reply with courage and bravery to those who accuse Pakistan and its institutions?

Agha Moosavi said our retired army men are also following this trend and are opening new Pandora’s Box. Recently, a retired General has accused army men of being thieves and non-trustworthy despite the fact that he had not only been a Corp commander himself and if he had that courage then why did he not resigned at that time. He asked what type of service they are extending to the nation by publishing such books. These books, he added, are rather becoming a source of strength for the enemies. He posed a question to those who are demanding to set up a commission on Kargil issue that what results the commissions so far set up have given? At a time when the government is set to complete its five-year term and elections are round the corner, raising new issues may be beneficial for the enemies only, he added.

The TNFJ chief said America was expressing reservations on the Pak-Iran gas pipeline agreement while she is keeping all types of relations with India. Therefore, she should keep in mind that Pakistan is completely an independent country and is free to develop relations with anyone. He reminded that in the era of Shahanshah Iran, America had no reservation in making that country superman of the region and now her hue and cry is an open interference in our internal affairs. He said aggression is not only the name of war rather interference in internal affairs which is also termed naked aggression. He said it should be kept in mind that Iran was the first country to recognize Pakistan and had extended support to us in 1965 and 1971 wars. He reminded that Pakistan has played the role of a bridge in improving relations between America and China and American reservations on Pak-China relations today are purely unjustified. He said incidents of using knives, hammers, Kalashnikovs, suicide attacks and target killings began in the Zia era and are still going on since then.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi paid homage to the Shuhada of Ayyam-e-Aza and paid tributes to their bereaved families, mothers, sisters, daughters and brothers and lauded the patience and forbearance by them. He said the enemy is following the policy of divide and rule and rumour-mongering about provinces is going on. He said they will not allow any provinces based on language and Maktab while provinces could be made for the purpose of administration keeping to the desires of the respective people but the time is not ripe even for such activity because, he added, some powers desire postponement of elections in the garb of these issues. Commenting on the 46-point code of ethics issued by the Election Commission he said the real issue is to get this code implemented. He said we are all out for Islam and Pakistan is the only country that was created in the name of Islam and for us protection of Pakistan is the protection of Islam. Whosoever will work against it should keep in mind that we accept death but will not let Pakistan or its Constitution die because we are the followers of Paighamber-e-Sadiq and Ameen (SAAW), Shahadat is an honour for us and we will continue struggling against the enemies of Islam and Pakistan with utmost sincerity.

Meanwhile, a protest rally was taken out from Qasr-e-Abu Talib in Rawalpindi Cantt. and terminated at Ganj-e-Shuhada in Dhoke Syeda where Mukhtar Force volunteers and Ibrahim Scouts paid salute to the graves of Shuhada. In Hazara Town, a condolence gathering was held at the graves of Shuhada in which thousands of people participated.
