RAWALPINDI, February 1: In accordance with the directives of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Moosavi’s announced Universal Week of Wahdat o Akhuwat programs concluded on Thursday. Likewise the other cities of Pakistan, Milad programs were arranged in Rawalpindi region too. While addressing to the Mehfil of Umm e Kulthum (PBUH) at Ali Hall, Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said that Hazrat Umme Kulthum (PBUH); the daughter of Ali and Batool (PBUT), shook the basis of tyranny and barbarity through her charismatic sermons in the streets of Syria and in the courts of Ibn e Zayad and Yazid. He said that it is the religion of Islam which laid down the foundation of human values for the individual and collective as well as physical and divine aspects of human life. The standards of ethics set by religion are considered as the best of all even today. Today’s history is full of pious and noble ladies among whom one is the granddaughter of the Holy Prophet, the grandmother of Hazrat Imam Jaffar Sadiq (PBUH), the daughter of Hazrat Ali and Batool (PBUT) and the sister of Hazrat Imam Hassan and Hussain (PBUT), Hazrat Umme Kulthum (PBUH). She was a great pious lady of her own time. In the authentic books of history it is mentioned that Umme Kulthum is basically the name of Zainab e Sughra. She came along with her brother to Karbala then she tolerated the torments and oppressions of captivity with Imam Zainab (PBUH), then along with her sister Hazrat Zainab, she shook basis of tyranny and barbarity of Yazidi courts through her charismatic sermons. The most authentic evidence of her greatness is one of her sermons to the people of Kufa in which after listening to the sermon the people of Kufa turned dumbstruck and in the condition of remorse they would feel pity on themselves as they had realized that they were framed by their Caliphs about the captives of Karbala but the ultimate end of the traitors, oppressors, dictators and tyrants is humiliation. Allama Qamar Haider Zaidi said that as long as Hazrat Umme Kulthum remain in the captivity, she kept exposing the real faces of barbarity and stood firm against the tyrants of her own time along with her sister Hazrat Zainab (PBUH). Mufti Basim Raza Zahiri said that the oppression experienced by the pious ladies of the household of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (PBUH) not only destroyed the Yazidiat forever but also gave a vision and understanding to the people and broke the status-quo of oppression and barbarity. Moulana Waqar Hussain Naqvi said that any revolution which brings about in the world, whether that is of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan or Iraq all had a single source of aspiration, which is Karbala. Moulana Shahzad Hussain Sundhi said that it should be kept in mind by all the oppressors and tyrannical world that when oppression crosses its limits, its annihilated permanently and at last victory becomes the fate of poor and destitute. On the conclusion of Universal Week of Wahdat o Akhuwat he pledged that by following the path of Ameer ul Momineen Hazrat Ali Ibn Abi Talib (PBUH) the condemnation of oppression and barbarity and support of oppressed and destitute will be continued.
