RAWALPINDI, September 28: In connection with the announcement of Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi the celebrations for the birth anniversary of the 8^th Holy Imam, Hazrat Imam Ali Raza (PBUH) started on Thursday. On this occasion, similar to the rest of the world, Mahafil e Meelad, conferences and seminars were held in all parts of Pakistan including the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. While addressing to a Mehfil e Meelad held under the auspices of Heayat Tulbae Islamia at Ali Hall, Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said that to stay away from the door of Hazrat Imam Ali Raza is in fact staying away from the Almighty Allah which is similar to the avoiding medicine despite pain. He said that through his knowledge and wisdom, Hazrat Imam Ali Raza (PBUH) introduced the method for transforming the characters right according to the will of God which if acted upon can not only fulfill the very purpose of the man’s creation but the problems of the whole humanity can also be resolved. He said that the leader of the humanity, Hazrat Imam Ali Raza (PBUH) is the eighth heir of the holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH & HHP) who stood firm for the revival of the truth and confronted the brutality and barbarism with extraordinary patience, courage and valor without deviating from the righteous path and not only declared the Tauheed (oneness of God) as the basic ideology and foundation but also proved it as a guarantee of success for the whole humanity. On this occasion, a resolution was passed which stressed the government to set aside nepotism and hypocrisy and act upon the anti-terrorism act to its letter and spirit for the resolution of the menace of terrorism in the country. The resolution declared the failure of government in stopping the continued target killing in Karachi as a big question mark and matter of concern. The resolution appealed to the chief justice of Pakistan to take immediate notice of the killings of innocent people in Karachi and take concrete actions against terrorism to provide relief to the nation. On this occasion, another resolution termed the blasphemous American film as an evil act and declared it an open challenge for the dignity of the Muslim nation while it stressed the Muslim rulers to adopt a bold and courageous policy to prove themselves as true followers of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HHP) of Islam. The Mehfil e Meelad was also addressed by Syed Mustansar Naqvi, Shehzad Hussain Sanadi, and Syed Muhammad Haider Hussaini. Another Mehfil of Ayamm e Imam e Zamin was held under the auspices of Anjuman Kaneezan e Imam al Asr e Waz Zaman at Sheb e Abi Talib (PBUH). While addressing to the mehfil, the Hafeeza Khatoon said that Hazrat Imam Ali Raza (PBUH) is that great personality who played a vital role in spreading the true message of Islam with exemplary courage, bravery, and gave lessons of love and peace to the whole world of humanity.
