Delegation of Mukhtar Organization meets with the Head of Cultural and Heritage Wing of UNESCO in Islamabad

Written memorandum was presented against deteriorating condition of the Holy mausoleums of Hazrat Imam Jaffer Sadiq (PBUH) and other heroes of Islam in Jannat ul Baqi; the Saudi government should rebuild the holy places or give us permission to reconstruct the remains

ISLAMABAD, September 12: Mukhtar Organization Pakistan (MO) supreme level delegation met Mr. Jawad Aziz, the head of Cultural & Heritage wing of UNESCO in Islamabad. At the occasion the central vice president of organization Mr. Ali Raza presented a written memorandum, in which the attention of UNESCO the sub department of the United Nations was brought towards the deteriorating condition of the mausoleum and demanded that they should play their role, in rebuilding of the holy tombs of great leader of humanity Hazrat Imam Jaffer Sadiq (PBUH) and other heroes of Islam, and to push Saudi government in this regard. In the memorandum it was clarified that the Saudi rulers demolished, the holy mausoleums that are world heritage. It is ungratefulness and contempt to the personalities who spread Islam throughout the world by demolishing their marks. Hence other nations not only protect and preserve their heritage but also make them more luminous and radiant so that other people can take benefit from it. In the memorandum sub department of United Nations, UNESCO was reinforced that if Saudi government cannot rebuild the tombs then TNFJ, Pakistan should be given permission to reconstruct the same; or else Makkah and Madina should be declared international cities where pilgrims can worship according to their religious views. UNESCO cultural head Mr. Jawad Aziz listened to the delegation with empathy and ensured them to forward their memo to the Head of UNESCO.

(PBUH & HHP): Peace be upon him and on his holy progeny
