By following the footsteps of Hazrat Ali (PBUH) one can get the rid of barbarity and oppression - Zainab Alviya To make the entire world peaceful and to make the beloved homeland as a prosperous country we shall have to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet and his vicegerent Hazrat Ali (PBUT) - address to the Mehfil e Haidery at Jamia tul Murtaza ISLAMABAD, October 20: Under the auspices of UWF, Sakina Generation and Girls Guide an assembly, in connection with the Holy Marriage ceremony of Janab e Murtaza was held which was addressed by Khatiba Zainab Alviya. In her address she said that by following the footsteps of Hazrat Ali (PBUH) the oppressed world can get the rid of barbarity and oppression. While highlighting the pious life of Hazrat Ali (PBUH) she asserted that the greatness of Hazrat Ali (PBUH) can be gauged from the fact that he opened his eyes in the lap of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and at the time of the death, the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) closed his eyes in the lap of Hazrat Ali (PBUH). In one of the saying of Hazrat Ali (PBUH) he said that " when I was young, the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) took care of me, he used to chew the food for me and then gave it to me to eat, he never suspected me lying and never found me deviating from the right path or showing any weakness. Almighty Allah always kept me with this glorious soul and because of his pious association I kept learning the good deeds, character and virtue. I always used to follow him like a young camel as it follows its mother and learnt his pious teachings and ethics. Every year the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) used to spend sometime in the Cave of Hira to meditate and associate with his Creator where no one could see him except for me. At that time no one knew about his Prophethood except for Khadija tul Kubra (PBUH) and me. I was the third one who could see the revelations and divine oracles and would see the divine light of the Prophethood and would feel the divine vision of the Messenger hood. I am among those whose faces are the embodiments of truths and whose voices are the eloquence of virtue, those who spend their nights awaken in the worship of Allah and of those who keep holding the rope of Allah and of those who take stand on the commands of Allah and of those who give life to the teachings of the Holy Prophet. I hereby advise you not to associate partners with Allah nor ruin the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP). Follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet as these are second to none". Mohtarma Zainab Alviya stressed that to make the entire world peaceful and to make the beloved homeland as a prosperous country we shall have to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet and his vicegerent Hazrat Ali (PBUT). It can not only control terrorism but can also solve all other problems but for that we will have to completely adopt the Islamic values and norms, which are the ideological basis of the creation of Pakistan.
