Imam Hussain (PBUH) refused to bow before the evil and protected the dignity of mankind - Kazim Turabi Thousands participated in the central Azadari procession of 11th Muharram in Chohar Harpal Rawalpindi RAWALPINDI, November 28: Majalis e Aza and mourning processions to commemorate the martyrdoms of the saviors of the Islam and Shariat e Muhammadi continued on Tuesday. The central procession was brought out in Chohar Harpal from the residence of Bawa Syed Karam Hussain Shah Kazmi while processions brought out at several other places also joined the central procession before conclusion. On this occasion, thousands of the participants of the procession performed Zanjeerzani at the Chohar Chowk. The procession was followed by a Majlis e Aza that was held at Malik House. While addressing to the Majlis e Aza, Allama Kazim Turabi said that the followers of Hussainiat cannot be suppressed by using oppression against them and creating hurdles in their way because Imam Hussain (PBUH) has given an eternal lesson of confronting the oppression and brutality with patience and perseverance which has astonished the oppressors in every era. He said that the end of every oppressor is horrible while the blood of the innocent becomes a source of eternity for his name. He said those who are blessed with the grief of Imam Hussain (PBUH) are very fortunate. Allama Turabi said that Hazrat Imam Hussain (PBUH) is a source of courage and determination who sacrificed his loved ones and his own life but did not submit in front of evil. He reminded that Hazrat Imam Hussain (PBUH) left Medina for the desert of Karbala and sacrificed his family to expose the real face of Yazidiat and never pledged allegiance for the evil. He said that in order to get rid of the evil, we must follow the pious character of Hazrat Imam Hussain (PBUH). Through his sacrifice, Imam Hussain (PBUH) provided eternal safety and protection to Islam while his young son Hazrat Ali Akbar (PBUH) gave us the lesson of confronting the oppression with courage and valor. On this occasion, a resolution was unanimously passed which vowed to comply with the code of Azadari given by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. The resolution reaffirmed that the suicide terrorist attacks cannot deviate us from the righteous path of Hussainiat while we are ready to sacrifice everything to defend Azadari. Another resolution stressed upon the government that it must take strict action against the activities of the banned organizations that are still operating using new names while the government and political parties must also separate themselves from those banned groups. A Matami procession to commemorate the martyrs of Karbala was brought out at Tofkiyan Panjkhatta in which a huge number of Azadars participated. On this occasion, Allama Waqar Hussain Qummi, Asad Abbas Naqvi, and Maulana Faizan Hussain Kazmi also highlighted the philosophy of martyrdom. Later the procession concluded after reaching Tofkiyan village.
