Imam Hussain (PBUH) saved the true message and spirit of Islam; all schools of thought commemorate Muharram according to their beliefs

ISLAMABAD, November 21: To commemorate the immortal sacrifices of Syed Ushohada Imam Hussain (PBUH), Matami Procession and Majalis of Moharram carried on the fifth day as well.

Hujjatul Islam Allama Basharat Hussain Imami while addressing a mourning gathering - held at Imam Bbargah Bait Ul Huzn, Ali Poor Firash, Federal Area Islamabad organised by Sadaat Gardaizi – said that the holy month of Muharram is all about the holy personalities of the pious family of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH & HHP) and their sacrifices for Islam, and all the recognized schools of thought commemorate these holy days equally.

He said that throughout the country mourners are following the Code of Azadari set by the Quaid e Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to commemorate and pay their tribute to the great sacrifice of Imam Hussain (PBUH), which is setting an excellent example towards ensuring peace and unity in the country.

Allama Qamar Haider Zaidi while addressing the Majlis said that the processions of Meelad un Nabi and Azadari are the true demonstration of the glory of Islam where all schools of thought participate to pay the reward of the Prophethood. He said that Imam Hussain (PBUH) and his sacrifice were for the whole of humanity and not just any particular religion or ethnicity.

Allama Ikhlaq Hussain Kazmi said that the mourning of Imam Hussain (PBUH) is the undeniable proof that there are no fragments or divisions amongst various schools of thought in Islam but only unity. On this occasion Syed Saqlain Hussain Shah Gardaizi presented a resolution which was adopted by scores of faithful to reiterate their pledge to follow the code of Azadari to the letter and spirit till 8th of Rabi ul Awal, in order to maintain peace and unity amongst Muslims and will wrath every conspiracy of the enemy against Islam and Pakistan. In a resolution which stated that the Shia community forgets all its personal grief and pains and gives preference to the grief of Imam Hussain (PBUH) during the Ayyam e Aza therefore, all the government organizations and institutions must announce holidays for the Shia community and relive them of their jobs and offices during these days and make arrangements for their commute. On this occasion a procession of Shabeeh e Zuljinah was brought out from the residence of Syed Abbas Ali Shah, Syed Ijaz Ali Shah and Iftakhar Hussain Shah which culminated at Imam Bargah after passing through its designated route.Allama Fakhar Abbas Abdi, Allama Sheeraz Kazmi and Zakir Saqlain Abbas Alwi also addressed the gathering. Majlis e Aza was concluded with the procession and matamdari was carried out by various sangat.

Syed Ali Zaki Zaidi while addressing his fifth Majlis e Aza at Masjid e Aal e Mohammad (PBUT) said that Imam Hussain (PBUH) is the martyr of humanity whom by sacrificing his whole family saved the true message and spirit of Islam. Various Ulema and Zakireen also addressed the mourning gatherings and programs of the holy month of Muharram at Masjid o Imam Bargah Qasr e Khadija tul Kubra (PBUH), Qasr e Imam Moosa e Kazim (PBUH) I-10, Masjid e Jafariya I-9 Islamabad.
