The eloquent and farsighted sermons of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) toppled the Yazidi political agenda In order to solve problems faced by the oppressed world, following of the example of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) is the need of the hour – Address of Mufti Basim Abbas Zahiri to the Majlis e Sharikatul Hussain RAWALPINDI, November 2: A Majlis e Aza in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zainab Binte Ali (PBUH) was held at Ali Hall under the auspices of Haeyat Tulbae Islamia. Mufti Basim Abbas Zahiri while addressing to the Majlis said that in order to recognize the pious personality of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) one has to adopt her pious character. He said that for the evolution of humanity and for the establishment of the religion and Sharia, Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) made great efforts alongside Imam Hussain (PBUH). Had Hazrat Zainab not completed the mission which Imam Hussain (PBUH) handed over to her, then the coming generation would not have known of the intellectual significance of Islam or the purpose of the sacrifice of Imam Hussain (PBUH). The historian, supported by the Umayyad court, would have succeeded in hiding the tragedy of Karbala. Therefore Hazrat Zainab and Imam Ali Zain al Abideen (PBUT) together publicized the Yazidi oppression. Through their sermons in protest, they toppled the Yazidi political agenda and devastated the Yazidi conspiracy of changing caliphate into dictatorship. They informed the Muslim nation of the Umayyad conspiracy, which they were hatching against Islam. Mufti Basim said that Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) was the leader of the women folk, the flag bearer of the Islamic revolution, propagator of the message of Karbala and was the representative of Hazrat Khadija and Fatima Zahra (PBUT) in Karbala. Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) took part in the battle of Karbala as a prudent woman and for the same reason the sermons of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) devastated the foundations of Yazidiat and took off the false mask of Islam from their faces. The glorious light of the sun bears witness that Hazrat Zainab, the daughter of one who is at the peak of knowledge and courage and the helper of everyone, was the pride of her knowledgeable, courageous and eloquent father and is her self an ocean of excellence and worthy of praise. On this occasion Shahzad Hussain Sandhi, Ali Zaib Kazmi and others also addressed to the Majlis; afterwards matamdari was performed.
