The insult of the Holy Quran at the hands of the so-called American priest, blasphemous Terry Jones is a slap on the face of the Muslim nation – Allama Fakhar Abidi

The culprits behind the attack on the shrine of Sakhi Mahmood Badshah should be brought to justice; the false murder case against the committee of Tahafaz e Hurmat e Mazarat should be revoked forthwith – Address of Allama Abidi to the Mehfil e Azmat e Niswan  

ISLAMABAD, May 13:  The resident Alim of Jamia Masjid Ali (PBUH), Gulberg Islamabad, Allama Syed Fakhir Abbas Abidi said that the evil act of setting alight the copy of the Holy Quran and a depiction of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) at the hands of the so-called American priest, blasphemous Terry Jones, is a slap on the face of the Muslim nation. All the Muslim rulers therefore should unite and adopt a joint strategy against the blasphemers of the Holy Quran and the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP).

Allama Fakhar Abbas Abidi while addressing to a Mehfil e Milaad in connection with the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (PBUH) expressed his grave grief over the fact that Hindus devastated the dignity of Babri Masjid, Zionist destroyed the honour of Baitul Maqadis, while the dignity and honour of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP), his Holy Progeny and pious companions is being trampled over. Allama Abidi reminded that the same padre burnt the Holy Quran in 2011. He said that those Muslims who are destroying the signs of Makka and Madina in the name of expansion and are bulldozing the graves of the forefathers of the Holy Prophet (PBUT), how would they protest to Hindus and Zionist? The same shameful act is being carried out in the beloved motherland Pakistan which came into being on the name of Islam; the shrines of the saints are being desecrated but the rulers and the politicians are not even moving their fingers on these shameful acts. 

Allama Abidi expressed his grave grief that on 20^th of April 2012 evil elements attacked the Shrine of Sakhi Mahmood Badshah situated in the heart of Islamabad and trampled over the dignity of the Holy Quran, the Holy name of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and the Alam Pak but instead of taking actions against the culprits behind this heinous crime, the administration in order to balance the situation registered a false murder case against the office bearers of the committee of Tahafaz e Hurmat e Mazarat which is a completely and utterly against the norm of fair play and justice. He said that the administration should keep in mind that truth cannot be hidden for long and there may be a delay from Almighty Allah but when He carries His Justice it is swift and prompt. 

Allama Fakhar Abbas Abidi said that we are standing firm on our stance that there is no sectarian conflict in this matter but the attack on the Shrine of Sakhi Mahmood Badshah is carried out by the usurpers (the Qabza Mafia). He said that Sakhi Mahmood Sarkar and Bari Imam are Sadaat, therefore an enquiry board should be formed to work out the total land belonging to the shrine of Sakhi Mahmood and an investigation should be launched to find out who has installed these people in the shrines of Bari Imam and Sakhi Mahmood Badshah and when this heinous crime took place. He demanded from the government to immediately clear the land belonging to these shrines from the Qabza Mafia and Auqaf should administer these shrines according to the wishes of the trustees.
