Division of provinces on ethnic, lingual, religious or tribal basis is equivalent to putting the country’s integrity into danger – Hamid Moosavi

The statement of America to continue drone attacks is an act of defiance against a sovereign nation; If Iran can bring down drones then why not Pakistan, who is equipped with nuclear and missile technology, do the same? The government and the opposition are in war over the explanation of constitutional articles; the financial supports offered by some Muslim countries is being used to fan sectarianism; as long as the remembrance of Karbala continues, the loyalty of the sons of Hazrat Ummal Banin (PBUT) will be remembered – Address of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to the concluding Majlis of Ayyam e Madre Abbas (PBUH)

RAWALPINDI, May 7: The Quaid e Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that there is no harm in making even 100 provinces of the motherland on an administrative basis in order to resolve the problems of the people but a division of provinces on ethnic, linguistic, Maslak of tribal basis is commensurate to putting the country’s integrity into danger. The government and the opposition should not open a Pandora’s Box in order to overcome each other. The attention of the people is being diverted from real issues by entangling them into legal issues. The motherland Pakistan is confronted with the worst energy crisis and terrorism whilst in danger of marine aggression from India and surgical attacks from America while people are being crushed with price hikes in a situation where the government and the opposition are at war over the explanation of the constitutional articles. The statement of America to continue drone attacks is an act of defiance against a sovereign nation, the government should use its right to defend the motherland; If Iran can bring down a drone then why not Pakistan, who is equipped with nuclear and missile technology, do the same? Like the Bonn conference, the Chicago conference should also be boycotted. Those Muslim countries who raise the attractive slogans of unity and brotherhood, the financial supports offered by them is being used to fan sectarianism and therefore they are the greatest enemy of the beloved Pakistan and Islam; in  order to fail the colonial conspiracy against Pakistan and Islam, every man and woman will have to follow the pious character of the pious personalities of Islam, including Hazrat Ummal Banin (PBUH). These views were expressed by him while addressing the Majlis e Shahadat Ummal Banin on the last day of Ayyam Madar-e-Abbas Alamdar (PBUH). 

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said America has been violating the national honour of Pakistanis and the announcement of continuing drone attacks proves that America is not concerned about honouring Pakistan’s autonomy therefore the rulers should respond to American actions by ordering Pakistan’s armed forces to down the drones, because in a civilized world every country has the right to defending its sovereignty; whatever courageous policy the government  adopts in response to American aggression will be honoured by the whole nation because there is nothing more important than the honour and dignity of any nation. The issue of American aggression should also be raised on all international forums including the United Nations and ICC. He said unfortunately such rulers had been imposed on Pakistan who tried to turn the constitution according to their own whims instead of working in line with the constitution and same is being done even today; the whole of Pakistan is bleeding and some forces are utilizing their energies to nullify the ideology of Pakistan while the same is our life. Because of these attitudes, and due to the wrong policies of the rulers and the politicians, we have already lost half of the country and what ever is left,  bids are being made to divide it further. He said the rulers are adopting the policy of divide and rule by raising the issue of new provinces and the attention of the people is being diverted from real issues. 

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Pakistan is the fruit of joint struggle of all Masalik and Makatib. Allama Iqbal was Sunni and Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was Shia; Sunni and Shia are two strong hands of Pakistan. From day one our common enemy is busy in destroying this unity because the unity of the Muslim nation is its death.  He said that on one hand America and our perpetual enemy India are bent upon ridiculing Pakistan while some Muslim States are fighting their wars on our soil. These States on one hand talk about unity but, on the other, do not miss any opportunity to divide the Muslim sections of society. He requested these States not to interfere in our affairs which will be a great favour to Pakistan.  

Agha Moosavi said that in order to prolong the illegitimate rule, the dictator Zia saw the seed of sectarianism which is reaping till to date. Our arch enemy is using every trick in the book to prove Pakistan a failed state; sometimes a wholly inaccurate image of sectarian conflicts is being portrayed while there are times when a hue and cry is being made in regards to safety of minorities. These are all dramas; if there is a conflict between Sunni and Shia then those who are defending the geographical boundaries of the motherland and are sacrificing their lives such as Giyari sector wouldn’t include the names of both Shia and Sunni. We would like to inform every one that Sunni and Shia are brothers and there is no power on earth which can destroy this brotherhood. 

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that if the rulers are really interested in establishing peace then they should eliminate those groups on which they have imposed a ban because there is no place in Pakistan which is safe from their mischief. From Parachanar to Karachi and from Gilgit to Balouchistan the public is being killed, who all are the sons of this soil; the murder of any one person is actually the murder of the whole of Pakistan.

The TNFJ chief said Hazrat Ummal Banin (PBUH) is that great personality of Islamic history who presented a great example of love and devotion towards the pious family of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) that has no match in the world history. Hazrat Fatima Binte Hazzam known as Ummal Banin (PBUH) belonged to one of the brave Arab tribes known as Bani Kala'ab. She had the honour of being the companion of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and her family was famous for bravery and gentleman ship. Agha Moosavi said that till truth and false hood are at war the lesson of Karbala will be alive and as long as the remembrance of Karbala continues, the loyalty of the sons of Hazrat Ummal Banin (PBUT) will be remembered. He said Hazrat Ummal Banin (PBUH) loved the grandson of the Holy Prophet, Imam Hussain (PBUH) so much that always mourned the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (PBUH) instead of her sons. She used to draw signs of the graves of her our sons in Jannat ul Baqi and rubbed them out before reciting Noha by making the sign of Imam Hussain’s shrine in Jannat ul Baqi.  

The Quaid e Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said in today’s era people like Terry Jones and Salman Rushdie are committing desecration of the Holy Quran and the Prophethood. If the Muslim nation exercises faith and love like Hazrat Ummal Banin with Mustafa (PBUH & HHP) and the Book of Almighty Allah then every atheist force, how ever powerful it may be, can be forced to bow down. He led the prayer for Levies personnel who kissed martyrdom in the suicide attacks in Bajaur and for those martyrs who fell prey to terrorism in Gilgit, Baltistan, Karachi and Quetta.
