Month of Ramadan provides an opportunity to gather the bounties and mercy of Almighty Allah – Allama Syed Hussain Muqadasi Special security arrangements must be made during the month of Ramadan – Conveners appointed to arrange programs of Istaqbal e Ramazan (i.e. the reception of the holy month of Ramazan) RAWALPINDI, July 17: A meeting of TNFJ’s Istaqbal e Ramazam committee was held that was presided over by the convener of the committee Allama Syed Hussain Muqadasi. Conveners for all the provinces and federal capital Islamabad were appointed in the meeting. While addressing to the meeting Allama Muqadasi said that the holy month of Ramadan is a month of blessing and mercy; therefore everyone should act according to the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH & HHP) and abstain from doing what is forbidden. He said that for this purpose instead of the politics of deception and personal likes and dislikes, the national interest should be kept in view and tolerance and respect should be shown towards others. He said that the month of Ramadan is the month of piety and worship and the biggest worship of all in this month is fasting as Almighty Allah has said that “fasting is for me, and I will repay for it”. He said that the benefits of fasting are so many that if a person duly completes this month with respect, all his previous sins are forgiven; that is the reason that fasting is called a “shield” because the person fasting during the month of Ramadan tries to abstain from all sins and evil and, on the other hand, tries to do good. On this occasion, Allama Guftar Sadqee, Allama Fakhar Abbas Abdi Islamabad, Allama Sajjad Gardezi, Allama Qamar Abbas Moosavi Punjab, Allama Waqar Hassan Taqwi, Maulana Madhosh Bhutto Sindh, Maulana Agha Zahir Ali Kazmi, Maulana Wajid Ali Kiyani Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, Allama Syed Riaz Kazmi, Khuwaja Saghir Ali Ansari Azad Kashmir, and Allama Muhammad Kazim Turabi, and Maulana Akhund Ghulam Muhammad Amooni Gilgit Baltistan were nominated as conveners and secretaries respectively. On this occasion the government was demanded through a resolution to announce abandonment of load shedding during the month of Ramazan while the security of the places of worship must be strengthen. The resolution strongly condemned the tragic incidents of terrorism in Karachi, Quetta and Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa and demanded for a concrete action against the banned organizations for the restoration of peace in the country.
