The descendants of Abu Talib (PBUH) protected the garden of Islam from the evil powers by sacrifcing their lives 

Imam Hussain (PBUH) is the ultimate martyr, the survival of the universe lies in the commemoration of Imam Hussain (PBUH) - addresses of Allama Qamar Haider Zaidi, Nuzhat Naqvi and other Ulema to the mourning assemblies in connection with Hafta e Ehad O Peyman

RAWALPINDI, January 28: As announced by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi, the programmes of Majalis and matami processions in connection with Hafta e Ehad O Peyman continued on Friday. Programmes of majalis e aza and matami processions were organised under the auspices of different religious organisation and institutions throughout the country. Ulema e Karam, Khutabaa O Waizeen Uzzam while highlighting the pious character of Imam Hassan al Askari (PBUH), reiterated their stance that no sacrifice will be too great to defend and to propagate the objectives for which Imam Hussain and his companions (PBUT) sacrificed their lives.

At Paracha house, while addressing to a mourning assembly arranged by Saddique Hussain Paracha, Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said that the whole world is in the grip of terrorism and to get the rid of it, it is essential to adopt the pious character of Imam Hussain (PBUH) because he was the one who stood against the evils and vices and tolerated every oppression of Yazid. He said that the spiritual processions of Azadari and Milaad of Nabi (PBUT), which are taken out in the love of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH & HHP) and of Imam Hussain (PBUH), are actually the demonstration of the glory of Islam through which we attain the essence of our existence.  He said that in the critical situation of Karbala the descendants of Abu Talib (PBUH) protected Islam from evil powers by sacrificing their lives. Moulana Malik Ijlal Haider Haidery and Zakir Afsal Hussain Khokhar also addressed the assembly. Subsequently, Matamdari was carried out.

A majlis was organized under the auspices of Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam, Ummul Baneen WF, Sakina Generation and Girl Guides at Imam Bargah Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad. Mohtarma Khateeba Nuzhat Naqvi while addressing to the majlis said that azadari is the universal protest of the oppressed and will continue till the achievement of the rights of oppressed world. She said that the survival of the universe lies in the remembrance of Imam Hussain (PBUH). She emphasized that Imam Hussain (PBUH) does not belong to any particular sect or religion rather he is a martyr of humanity who sacrificed his life and the lives of his near and dear ones for the survival of human values and the supremacy of the religion. Mohtarma Syeda Bint e Mousa Mousavi conducted the assembly while the eulogy was performed by Mohtarma Farhat Fatimah. After the majlis Shabeeh e Taboot Bibi Fatimah Sughra (PBUH) was taken out in the ladies and matamdari was performed.

Under the auspices of committee Hafta e Ehad O Peyman district Rawalpindi, a mourning assembly was held at Imam Bargah Zain ul Abideen. While addressing to the assembly Moulana Syed Waqar Hussain Naqvi said that at the plain of Karbala, Imam Hussain (PBUH) sacrificed every member of his family to protect Islam. He asserted that the existence of Islam throughout the world is because of those valuable sacrifices and constant struggle made by Imam E Mazloom and his followers (PBUT).

In the assembly through a resolution it was pledged that after the days of mourning, in the processions of Milaad un Nabi, great Shia Sunni unity and fraternity will be demonstrated and through this the evil conspiracies of the enemies will be failed. It was also demanded from the government to take strict security measures in the programs of Hafta e Ehad O Peyman. Other Ulema also address the assembly. The mourning assembly was concluded on Matamdari.
