The government should make strict security arrangements for Matami processions and Majalis e Aza during the Universal Ayyam e Arbaeen e Hussaini – Hamid Moosavi

RAWALPINDI, January 07: The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has demanded from the government to make strict security arrangements for Matami processions and Majalis e Aza during the Universal Ayyam e Arbaeen e Hussaini (Chehlum Shuhada-e-Karbala). This was demanded by him while delivering his presidential address at the opening session of the two-day high level meeting of the Tehreek Nafaz e Fiqh e Jafariya here at the headquarters of the Maktab e Tasheyo. He said that the importance of Arbaeen e Hussaini is not less than Ashoora, therefore, the powers that be are under the obligation to ensure security on this occasion at all cost while media should highlight the message of Hussainiat. Reports in regards to the performance of the Markazi Muharram Committee and different sections of the Tehreek was presented at the TNFJ meeting while important decisions were made after taking into consideration the matters of the national and international importance.

Agha Moosavi in his address on the occasion said that Aza e Hussaini continues till 8^th Rabiul Awwal with due religious fervor. He said that the Arbaeen e Hussaini is the memorial of Hussain’s (PBUH) sacrifice, therefore, the government should ensure effective security of processions being taken out from every nook and corner of the country in connection with the Chehlum of Shuhada-e-Karbala from 18-20 Safar. In this connection, he said, Muharram Control Rooms in the federal interior ministry and in all the four provinces including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan should be on high alert and be advised to remain in contact with the Markazi Muharram Azadari Cell of the TNFJ. He called upon the Azadars to follow the code of Azadari and should remain in contact with the Markaz. He said that the basic ideology of Pakistan is Kalma-e-Tauheed and according to the Sultan ul Hind Moeen uddin Chishti Ajmeeri, the foundation of Kalma e Tauheed is Imam Hussain (PBUH), therefore, in order to defeat the conspiracies of the oppressors, the whole nation must adopt the path of Hussain (PBUH). 

He said that Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) and Imam Sajjad (PBUH) accepted the difficulties of imprisonment so as to protect and propagate the message of Hussainiat and presented heart-rending addresses owing to which the Yazidiat is hiding its face to-date. He reiterated the resolve that the peaceful protest of the oppressed against oppression and brutality in the form of Azadari will continue till the reappearance of Qaim Aal-e-Muhammad (PBUH).

The TNFJ chief said that at present the government and the opposition are busy in their struggle to prolong and achieve power but they will have to display sincerity of purpose in doing so. He said the people have been pushed into the swamp of price hike, load-shedding, terrorism and target killing by entangling them into the slogans of election and revolution while the banned groups are roaming about freely and the government should explain this situation. If these elements are innocent and pious then the restriction from them should be lifted otherwise they should be tackled with an iron hand. He also called upon the people to remain alert and keep an eye on miscreants. He said those who are playing the tune of democracy should first show where does the democracy exist? Because at the present Americanism is the second name of democracy. If American interests are fulfilled with dictatorship, Imperialism or kingdom-ship then for America that is democracy. He lamented that all international organizations including the United Nations are keeping silence over incidents of arson and bloodshed in Egypt and Bahrain. He felt that the game of saving the chair and achieving the same is being played in Pakistan on the behest of the colonial powers that has nothing to do with the welfare of the public because the public only desire welfare of Pakistan.

Agha Moosavi stressed the need of making the draft comprising new conditions for relations with America and NATO public for comments and it should be put for debate in the Parliament. He made it clear that Pakistan is replete with natural resources therefore the powers that be would have to ensure national solidarity and get themselves rid of satanic powers because the people are upset from them because the policies of these powers are based on duplicity. Condemning continuous incidents of target killings in Sindh and Balochistan, he demanded from the government to ensure the life and property of the citizens while bereaved families should be paid financial compensation and justice. He said a government that cannot provide protection to the people has no justification to remain in power.

The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi made it clear that motherland Pakistan came into being to remain and all schools of thought will save it jointly and will ensure the enemies of the nation and the country are driven out. 

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that if we want to elevate the dignity and honour of the motherland Pakistan then we will have to free ourselves from the shackles of the evil powers which does not mean to cut of the ties but to have relation on the basis of equality and not on the basis of slave and master. He said that the colonial powers and their stooge Organizations have a double standards for the Muslim nation. When Muslims demand their rights from non Muslim powers then they are called extremists or are calmed down by passing resolutions; the problem of Kashmir and Palestine is an example of these double standards. On the other hand, in Muslim countries, when non-Muslim make a stand for their rights then they are given the right to choose and are supported, the recent example of this behaviour is the dividing of East Timor and Sudan.

The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali shah Moosavi made it clear that for us the Azadari is the most important matter over everything else and the mourning for Imam Hussain (PBUH) has a priority over any other kind of grief. He said that neither anyone could bow down our forefathers nor can bow us or our future generations before them. He said that there is a need to uphold the teachings of Imam Hussain (PBUH) so as to overpower Zionism and colonialism.
