Youm e Noor was observed with great religious zeal and reverend throughout the country 

Continued acts of terrorism and target killings in Sindh and Baluchistan are the results of incompetence of the government and a free hand given to the banned groups; Mourners should only give preference to Azadari over everything else – Addresses of Moulana Waqar Qumi, Dr Shabih Zahra Kazmi and other Ulema to the Majalis e Noor

RAWALPINDI, January 3:  As per the announcement of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi Youm e Noor was observed with religious zeal and respect to pay homage to Imam Musa Kazim (PBUH). On this occasion Majalis e Noor were organized in all the big and small cities and towns throughout the country. Ulema e Karam, Waezeen and Zakreen highlighted the pious character of seventh Imam, Imam Musa Al Kazim (PBUH) and said that practical following of Imam’s pious character is the source of success in this world and salvation in the world hereafter. In the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad special programmes and gathering were also held in this regard. 

A majlis e Noor was held at Ali hall under the auspices of Hayat Tulbae Islamia, Allama Syed Waqar Hussain Naqvi Al Qumi while addressing to the Majlis said that the pious personalities of Islam played a vital role for the protection and propagation of the pious aims and objectives of Islam and the master of the Universe Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (PBUH) topped the list of those personalities who performed exemplary deeds. He said the great personality of the family of the Holy Prophet, Hazrat Imam Musa Kazim (PBUH) was firm and strong in nature and performed his deeds for the supremacy of justice and fair-play and to give new heights to righteousness. He confronted the oppressors of his time and bore the brunt of prison but did not bow down on front of the tyrants of his era. On this occasion a resolution was passed by the participants of the Majlis in which target killings of the innocent people of Sindh and Baluchistan since the beginning of the Muharram ul Haram were condemned. It is proven by these tragic incidents that due to the incompetence of the government, the banned terrorists groups have been reactivated and therefore it is the utmost responsibility of the government to control them. In the resolution it was reminded to the mourners of Imam Hussain to stay away from the calls of strikes and sit-ins which are being called for by banned terrorists groups and should carry on observing days of mourning while keeping azadari of Imam dear over everything else. In the resolution it was demanded from the government to take the shackles of convenience off and to take concrete steps against banned terrorist groups in order to protect the lives of the public and their property and to establish long term peace in the motherland. Moulana Shehzad Hussain Sandi, Moulana Tehzeeb ul Hassan Naqvi, Moulana Mohsin Raza Bilali and Moulana Syed Mustansar Hussain Naqvi also addressed to the Majlis.

A Majlis e Noor was also held at Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad under the auspices of UWF, Girls Guide, Sakina Generation and Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam. Khatiba Dr Shabih Zahra while addressing to the Majlis said that Prophets, Messengers, saints and Godly people confronted tyrant rulers, dictators, and oppressors in every era and restored justice and fair-play and thwarted oppression, brutality and suppression using the strongest weapon of patience and forbearance. She said that to fulfil the heavy responsibilities entrusted on Muhammad (PBUH & HHP) and his Holy Progeny (PBUT) by Almighty Allah, these pious personalities did not kept quiet but helped the oppressed and have-nots
