Politicians and rulers are destroying the ideologies of the Quaid and Iqbal – Hamid Moosavi

The postponement of defense of Pakistan conference in respect of Chehlum of Imam Hussain (PBUH) is a good step; Indian and Western media is defaming Pakistan while Pakistani diplomatic missions have been failed; those politicians who pay their taxes in a few thousands are spending millions on their rallies? RAWALPINDI, January 2: The Quaid e Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that just like the Banu Umayyad defamed Islam in the garb of the religion for their self-interest similarly Pakistan’s politicians and rulers are misusing the name of the Quaid e Azam and Allama Iqbal while destroying their ideologies. He said Indian act of accusing Pakistan of terrorism and putting their security on high alert is a slap in the face of those who desired friendship with Pakistan’s perpetual enemy. Independence is the revolution of life and is indebted to those who sacrificed their lives in the battle field of Karbala. The politicians who do not respect the days of mourning of the grandson of the Holy Prophet, Imam Hussain (PBUH) and desired absolute freedom were befooling the people in the name of revolution and Islamic welfare State. He said postponement of the defense of Pakistan conference in respect of Chehlum of Imam Hussain (PBUH) is a good step. The pious character of minor Mujahida-e-Karbala Sakina Bintal Hussain (PBUH) is the source of inspiration for the children the world over as she had kissed martyrdom in prison of Shaam for the sake of the movement of Imam Hussain (PBUH) aimed at protecting Islam.

Agha Moosavi said dreaming of friendship with India without resolution of Kashmir is a useless thinking as millions of people lost their lives for the sake of independence, while the honour of mothers, sisters and daughters of Kashmiri people were trampled by the occupation forces. Thousands of innocent Kashmiris are still in Indian jails to date while religious rites and gatherings are banned including Aza-e-Hussaini. On the other hand our authorities have failed to raise these issues at the world forum and Pakistan who suffered most in war against terror is still being haunted by the Indian and western media.

The TNFJ chief said that the whole country is the victim of target killings and the heinous murder of Raza Askari in Karachi and Surgeon Baqir Shah in Baluchistan along with incidents of blasts tantamount to giving an open hand to the land mafia and the banned parties. The rulers and politicians are busy in staging rallies at a time when the country is confronted with price hike and load-shedding of gas and power. He questioned that how those politicians who pay their taxes in a few thousands are spending millions on their rallies? The chief justice should ask them from where they got this money while the people who are deprived of the two-time meals were astonished to see the musical rallies all around the country.

The TNFJ chief advised the religious parties to give up the role of pressure groups and it would be better for them to get their identity recognized instead of sitting in the lap of other powers and confront the conspiracies against diverting Pakistan from its basic ideology, discourage biases and terrorism and adopt clear-cut stance against those doing so. He said that the Christian community of Iraq by celebrating Christmas modestly in respect of the Days of Mourning of Imam Hussain (PBUH) has proved that Hussain (PBUH) belongs to all. Changing the dates of gathering in Rawalpindi and Peshawar in respect of Chehlum of Imam Hussain (PBUH) and Milad un Nabi by the Defense of Pakistan Conference reflects wisdom.

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that today the spirit of passion of freedom in the hearts of the children of Palestine, Kashmir, Iraq and Afghanistan is alive due to the pious example set by Sakina bintal Hussain (PBUH). Hazrat Sakina Bintal Hussain (PBUH) is offspring of family of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP), the granddaughter of the lion of Allah (ALI (PBUH)) and the honorable personality of Arab, Alqaees bin Adee (the grandfather of Hazrat Sakina from the mother side). Her grandmother (from mother side) was Zainab, the cousin sister of Usman bin Hanif who was governor of Basra in the time of Khilafat of Amir al Momnin Ali Ibne Abi Talib (PBUH).

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that there is a saying of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP), “Hussain is from me and I am from Hussain and Almighty Allah loves those who love Hussain” therefore those who are loved by Imam Hussain (PBUH) their honour and dignity must be matchless. The status of Hazrat Rubab and Hazrat Sakina (PBUT) can be judged from this saying of Imam Hussain (PBUH), “I love that house where Rubab and Sakina (PBUT) live”. Agha Moosavi said that every minor and elder of the family of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) were equal in their manners and actions. The pious ladies of the family of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) kept the traditions of their forefathers alive and devastated the foundations of Yazidiat in the bazars of Kufa and Shaam as well as in the courts of Ibne Ziyad and Yazid. 

The Quaid e Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal were highly impressed by the movement of Karbala. The Quaid e Azam had said that Muslims do not get distressed from a trial as the determination in the time of trial is preached by the people of Karbala while Iqbal had considered the sacrifice of Hussain (PBUH) during the battle between good and evil - the greatest victory against evil. Therefore those who desire to bring revolution would have to adopt the pious example and character of the grandson of the Holy Prophet Imam Hussain (PBUH) first.
