In protest, the ambassador of Pakistan should be called back from America; while following the example of Shoabe Abi Talib sanctions may be accepted but the compromise on the dignity and honour of the motherland is unacceptable – Hamid Moosavi

Not allowing America to have its consulate in Balouchistan is not sufficient instead, with drawl of America from this region is the need of the hour; The Islamic world is portraying helplessness and every Muslim country is the target of America; we can respond to this evil by adopting the spirit of Abu Talib (PBUH); To pay homage to the services rendered by Abu Talib (PBUH) is the duty of every follower of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) – The address of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya to the Majlis in remembrance of the protector and the guardian of the Prophethood on the concluding day of the “Universal Days of Grief”

RAWALPINDI, February 20: The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that America, the guardian of the usurper of Kashmir and Palestine cannot be a friend of Muslims and Pakistan. The more it is obeyed the bigger its demands get. The Muslim rulers should wake up from the deep slumber on the US congress resolution on dividing of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran. In response to attack on the sovereignty of Pakistan, the Ambassador should be called back from America; while following the example of Shoabe Abi Talib, financial sanctions may be accepted but the compromise on the dignity and honour of the motherland is unacceptable; Not allowing America to have its consulate in Balouchistan is not sufficient instead, with drawl of America from this region is the need of the hour; the culprits of the tragedy of Para Chanar should be brought to justice; a high level tribunal should be set to investigate the incidents of terrorism and severe punishments should be served to the criminals behind these terrorist activities. He expressed these views while addressing to the ‘Majlis e Nasir e Shariat’ here at the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tasheyo on the occasion of the death anniversary of the benefactor of Islam and the guardian of the Holy Prophet, Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) on the concluding day of the “Universal Days of Grief”.

Agha Moosavi said today the Islamic World is confronted with dangers and every country and the section of society is under the attack from the Abrahas of this era on the basis of which not only all Muslim States are upset rather fearful and are becoming their target one by one. It is unfortunate that Muslim rulers are themselves being used by the colonial powers and are busy cutting the same branch of the tree on which they are sitting. Day in and day out the blasphemy against the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP), destruction of the Muslim states one after the other and disrespecting of the geographical boundaries of the only Islamic ideological state, Pakistan, has become second nature of the chief of the colonial powers. The Islamic world is portraying helplessness; the evilness can be respond back by adopting the spirit of Abu Talib (PBUH). In the life time of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH), the infidels of Makkah could not cause any harm to the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) despite their hypocrisy, oppressions, conspiracies, influence, power and might. That is why the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) declared the year of the death of this great personality - the protector of Islam and its followers and the most oppressed faithful person as the “year of grief” (Aam ul Huzn). While following in the foot steps of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP), paying homage to the services rendered by Abu Talib (PBUH) is the duty of every follower of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP).

Agha Moosavi said if we want to save ourselves from the Abrahas of this era and their agents then the way Abu Talib (PBUH) protected the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) similarly we will have to display the unity and brotherhood in order to fight against the blasphemers of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and  the enemies of Islam while following in the foot steps of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH). We also will have to be ready to confront all the problems and difficulties for the protection of the religion of Islam by following the pious character and the path of Abu Talib (PBUH).

The TNFJ chief said that Allah Has declared the Abu Talib’s (PBUH) sponsorship as His shelter in Surah Az-Zuhaa. In the history of Islam, Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadija (PBUH) and the uncle of the Holy Prophet, Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) had the honour to sacrifice their lives and their wealth for the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP), and entrusted their honour, dignity and offspring to him. He said according to the Holy Quran, faith is the name of satisfaction of the heart; the pious character and the beliefs of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) are the proof that the forefathers of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) including Abu Talib (PBUH) were not only Faithful (Momin) by heart rather they were all Kamil Al-Iman. Had Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) declared his faith, he would not have been able to support and help the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) openly. Hiding of his faith and not declaring it as a precautionary measure was in line with the Momin belonging to the family of Pharaoh who had helped Hazrat Musa Kaleem Allah (PBUH) by hiding his faith. Hazrat Abu Talib’s sympathy, sacrifice, and feelings for the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and bearing all types of problems and difficulties for him, so much so to accept being sieged in Shoeb-e-Abi Talib and not letting harm caused to the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) throughout his life are those facts which no one can deny.

Agha Moosavi said there is not even a weakest narration in the history according to which Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) may have bowed before the idols and or had declared them as his gods. He said scholars of Islam agreed that Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) was on the religion of his forefathers. According to a narration from Imam Fakharuddin Razi the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) said, I continuously transferred from the Aslaab of Tahireen to the Arhaam of the Tahiraat therefore doubting the faith of the forefathers of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) is commensurate with doubting the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) himself.

Agha Moosavi said that according to Tareekh Ibne Kaseer, Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) used to say such eloquent couplets the reply of which was very difficult to find in the Arabic literature. This quality of his was recognised by the Arab world. The couplets sent by Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) to the Habshah’s king Nijashi shows his knowledge, his dignity and respect in front of the kings of that time and his ambassadorial expertise.

The couplets said by Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) to praise the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) are the clear proof of his faith; according to Tareekh Abu Al-Fida, Hazrat Abu Talib said, “Oh, the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) you have given me invitation to Islam and I am sure that you are Sadiq in your invitation towards Islam and you are already Sadiq and Ameen. It is my faith that the religion of Muhammad (PBUH & HHP) is the best of all the religions the world over. By God, till Abu Talib (PBUH) is alive, these atheists could not even collectively cause any harm to you. Oh, Allah! Remain witness, “I am on the religion of Muhammad (PBUH & HHP), if the world is misguided but I am the one who is guided”.

Agha Moosavi said that after the demise of Hazrat Abdul Muttalib (PBUH), Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) was declared Syed Al-Arab and he fulfilled his duty of protecting the candle of the Prophethood. Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) looked after and protected the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) in a such a manner that the historians were surprised. Allama Shibli Naumani writes: “Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) loved the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) so much that he cared more for him than his own children. For his well being Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) gave priority to his safety whenever the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) slept, similarly whenever he went out he took the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) with him”.

According to a saying of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqar (PBUH), if the faith of the whole world is put in one part and the faith of Abu Talib (PBUH) is put in the other part, the part of Abu Talib’s (PBUH) will remain heavy. That is why he was the one who strengthened the foundation of Islam, was the protector of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and the one who introduced the world of humanity to Islam.

There is a saying of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) that goes: “I did not involve in evil things even in the era of ignorance, “I was born in holy wedlock” The history stands witness that the Islamic wedding vows (Nikah) of the Holy Prophet of Allah (PBUH & HHP) with Hazrat Khadija (PBUH) was solemnized by Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH). The beginning of the Khutaba-e-Nikah recited by Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) while solemnizing the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH & HHP) Nikah according to Tareekh Ibn-e-Khaldoon, was full of praise for Allah and was:

Agha Moosavi said that the good deeds of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) are so many that even an unending chain of books could not cover them. After the demise of his helper and benefactor, the oppression from atheists increased to the extent that the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) had to leave his motherland and opt for migration. That is why the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) declared the year of death of his protector and guardian as the “year of grief” (Aam ul Huzn).

It should be kept in mind that what ever the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) says or does and whatever is stated and done in front of him and he remains silent, that is called his traditions.

The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while paying condolences to the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and his pious progeny (PBUT) on the death anniversary of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH), announced his commitment to continue raising the voice of truth for the protection, honour and dignity of Islam, Pakistan, pious personalities and signs attributed to Islam and the Islamic World. Support of the oppressed and have-nots and condemning the world of oppression and aggression will be continued and would not hesitate in sacrificing our lives in the path of truthfulness.

(PBUH & HHP): Peace be upon him and on his holy progeny

(PBUH): Peace be upon him/her

(PBUT): Peace be upon them
