Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) spent his life for the protection of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and for the propagation of the religion of Islam

To contol the menace of terrorism, activities of the banned groups using new names should immediately be stopped - addresses of Ulema to the mourning assemblies of the “Universal Days of Grief”.

RAWALPINDI, February 18: In accordance with the directives of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, programmes of the “Universal Days of Grief” in conncetion with the death anniversary of the protecter and supporter of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP), Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) continued throughout the country on Friday. Under the auspice of different religious associations and organizarions mourning assemblies and condolences were arranged in the twins cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

An assembly was held at Jamitul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad under the auspice of Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam and UWF. while addressing to the assembly Prof. Tahseen Kubra said that after the death of Hazra Abdul Mutalib (PBUH), AbuTalib (PBUH) became the guardian of the family of the Holy Prophet (PBUT). He not only had the privilege of bringing up of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) but also protected him from the vices of their time in such a courageous and elegant way that it is still a light of guidance for the oppressed and destitude nations to fight the evil powers of the contemporary world, who is frequently blaspheming against the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and disrespecting the grace and honour of the sacred and the Holy places including Bait ul Muqadas, SAMRA, Janatul Baqi and Janat ul Muallah. On one hand these evil powers are destroying the sanctity and honour of these sacred places while on the other hand innocent blood is being shed uselessely in Iraq, Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan and other oppressed part of the world. These evil powers are unneccessarily putting presure on Pakistan. The secrets of handling such evil powers lies in the pious character of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH).

on this occasion through a resolution, while condemning the continued terrorism in the country, it was demanded from the government to take strict actions against the activities of thebanned groups which are opperating with new identities. The resolution also demanded the implimentation of the Anti Terrorism Act so that menace of terrorism may be controlled .

Syeda Zainab Alviya had the honour of reciting verses from the Holy Quran and Hadith e Kisa while salams were presented by Shaherbano Naqvi, Khanam Zahra Gul and Syeda Saima Naqvi. The program was conducted by Syeda Salma Naqvi.

A mourning assembly was arranged by Syed Nazir Hussain at central Imam Bargah Tangdeav Sydaan. Allama Sheikh Ijaz Hussain Mudarris while addressing to the gathering said that the Chief of Makkah Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) protected the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and helped him with the propagation of Islam from the day the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH & HHP) announced his Prophethhod till his death. The sacrifices offered by Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) proved to be beneficial for the the survival of Islam and are worthy of following even in this era. Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Allama Fazal Abbas Hamdani, Allama Waqar Hussain Naqvi and Chaudhry Mushtaq Hussain also addressed the assembly.
