The Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) declared the year Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) passed away as the year of grief Islam is indebted to the great sacrifices made by Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) who fulfilled his responsibility of looking after the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH & HHP); Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) was on the religion of Hazrat Ibrahim (PBUH) – Addresses of Allama Zaidi, Tehseen Kubra, Dr Khanum Zahra and others to the Majalis of the “Universal Days of Grief” RAWALPINDI, February 17: Programmes of Alamgeer Ayyam ul Huzn as announced by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi continued on Thursday. Majalis e aza were organized under the auspices of different religious and matami organization in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad as well as throughout the country. A majlis e aza in connection with Ayyam ul Huzn was organized at Imam Bargah Ludan Shah New Katarian Rawalpindi. Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi while addressing to the majlis said that in order to get freedom from the colonial powers, the pious character of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) is a beacon of light. He said that Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) was on the religion of his forefathers. According to the historians, the forefathers of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) were on the religion of Hazrat Ibrahim (PBUH). He said that Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) not only looked after and brought up Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH & HHP) after the death of Hazrat Abdul Mutalib (PBUH) but also bear the hardships of the Shoab e Abi Talib and no Muslim can deny this fact. He said that if the faith of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) was different from the faith of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) then the character of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) would have been like Abu Jahel and Abu Lahab. On every occasion, Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) helped and protected the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and this is a proof of his Faith. The Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) said himself that Ali (PBUH) is a complete Faith, whose son was a complete faith; his father was on the heights of Faith. He said that due to the great sacrifices rendered by Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH), the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) declared the year he (PBUH) passed away as the year of grief. A Majlis e Ayyam ul Huzn was held under the auspices of Anjuman Dukhtaran e Islam at Imam Bargah Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad. Muhtarma Tehseen Kubra while addressing to the participants of the Majlis said that during the life time of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH), infidels of Mecca did not have courage to raise a finger on the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) but after the sad demise of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH), the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) was forced to migrate to Medina and 105 wars were imposed on him. Khateeba Sheherbano Naqvi while addressing to the Majlis said that, even today the Muslim world is facing wars and the evil powers are busy in dividing oppressed nations and Islamic world so that they may not be able to gain freedom and acquire the rights. Zakira Farhat Fatima said that the Muslims of the world should follow the pious character of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) instead of Western world, who single handed not only protected the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) but also helped Islam to gain strength which is a best example for all to follow. She said that after Abu Talib (PBUH), the pious character of the children of Ali O Batool (PBUT) is a beacon of light in order to fight back the enemies of the Religion and Sharia. DR Khanum Zahra Gul said that Islam is indebted to the great sacrifices of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) who fulfilled his duty of looking after of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH & HHP). To conclude the Majlis Taboot of Shehzada Ali Akbar (PBUH) was brought out in the ladies Majlis.
