Shoabe Abi Talib is a unique memorial of sacrifices and offerings made for Islam – Malik e Ashter

The “Universal Days of Grief” in connection with the death anniversary of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) will commence today; the government must ensure law and order and the media should broadcast programmes to elaborate the sacrifices made by this great personality of Islam – demand of the committee of the “Universal days of Grief”

RAWALPINDI, February 15: As per the directives of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, the “Universal Days of Grief” to commemorate the death anniversary of the protector, helper and benefactor of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and the key holder of the Ka’aba - Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH), will commence today. On this occasion Majalis e Aza and condolences will be held throughout the country and worldwide. In Jamia Mosques, Aiema e Masajid and speakers will pay their condolences to the Holy Prophet and Imam Ali Al Murtaza (PBUT) while highlighting the pious character of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) and his services for the establishment of the religion of Islam. This statement was made by the secretary of the committee of the “Universal Days of Grief”, Ma’alik e Ashter while addressing to the participants of the meeting. He said that the love of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) was exceptional with his uncle Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH). Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) on every occasion protected the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) in such a way that the infidels of Makkah with all their might could not cause any harm to the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP). He said that Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) accepted all the hardships of Shoab e Abi Talib and set matchless example of sacrifice and offering.

Ghulam Abbas Haideri while addressing to the meeting said that Almighty Allah in the Holy Quran declared the refuge of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) for the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) as his own which elevates the dignity of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) fourfold. He said that the difficulties and problems faced by humanity are due to deviating from the teachings of the benefactor of humanity the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH & HHP).

Sardar Tariq Jafferi while addressing to the meeting demanded from the Muslim rulers to take serious notice of the continuous blasphemy against the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and should adopt a concrete strategy in this regard or otherwise their hand will soon reach to their neck.  

A resolution was passed by the participants of the meeting, in which, it was demanded from the government to make special security measures during the “Universal Days of Grief” which are being observed from 22^nd to 26^th Rabiul Awwal in order to commemorate the death anniversary of Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) and that the media should give proper coverage to the programmes in this regard.
