Today Youme Mukhtar e Aal e Mohammad will be observed throughout the country with great respect and reverence Mukhtar e Saqafi (R.A.) performed such great and outstanding duties and deeds that Imam Zain ul Abidin (PBUH) awarded him with the distinguished title of “Dua e Khair”; Hazrat Mukhtar e Saqafi (R.A.) is a role model for the followers of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh & hhp) and Imam Hussain (PBUH) – Address of Amjad Naqvi to the members of the committee RAWALPINDI, February 2: Meeting of Central Youm e Mukhtar e Aal e Muhammad committee was held at central office of the committee. Supreme Commander MFP, Syed Amjad Ali Shah presided the meeting. Important matters and arrangements were reviewed for the upcoming Youm e Mukhtar e Aal e Muhammad (Eid Zahra). Syed Amjad Hussain Naqvi, while addressing the members of the committee, said that Hazrat Mukhtar e Saqafi (R.A.) performed such great and outstanding duties and deeds - after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (PBUH) - that Infallible Imam Zain ul Abidin (PBUH) awarded him with the distinguished title of “Dua e Khair”. He further said that Hazrat Mukhtar e Saqafi (R.A.) is a role model for the followers of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh & hhp) and Imam Hussain (PBUH). He said that Hazrat Mukhtar Saqafi was a brave commander, who avenged the death of Imam Hussain (PBUH). Amjad Hussain Naqvi said that countrywide “Youm e Jashan e Mukhtar e Aal e Muhammad” will be celebrated by starting the day with recitation of the the Holy Quran, afterwards religious gatherings will be held by various organisations at Mosques and Imam Bargah, to Honour Hazrat Mukhtar e Saqafi (R.A) and to celebrate the day. On this occasion solidarity will be shown with all the oppressed of the world and special prayers will be carried out for the peace in Muslim World and Pakistan. In the mean time a religious gathering will be held at Imam Bargah Qasr e Abu Talib (PBUH) Rawalpindi to celebrate the day of Mukhtar e Aal e Muhammad. Renowned clerics and speakers will address the gathering. |
