Imam Hussain (PBUH) rendered unique sacrifice for the honor and dignity of human values; Hazrat Mohammad and His Holy Progeny (PBUT) experienced all types of hardships and oppression with great patience and forbearance - address of Khatiba Gohar Fatima to the mourning assembly of Hafta e Aseeran e Karbala at Imam Bargah Jamia tul Murtaza

ISLAMABAD, December 30: “Hazrat Imam Hussain (PBUH) is a that great saviour of humanity whose sacrifices for the survival of human values and for the preservation of human dignity and honor are unique in its nature which is a guideline for the success of the people of all nations”. This was stated by renowned speaker Gohar Fatima while addressing to a mourning assembly arranged by UWF, Sakina Generation, Girls Guide and Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam (R) at central Imam Bargah Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad which was held there in connection with the “week in remembrance of the captives of Karbala (PBUT)” (Hafta e Aseeran e Karbala) and as per the announcement of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Moosavi. In her eloquent address, she asserted that the Holy Progeny of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) demonstrated patience and tolerance against every torture and oppression and proved to the entire world that in order to obtain pious objective one should be ready to sacrifice everything; since only the attainment of pious objectives are the realities of life and guarantee of salvation.

She iterated that the remembrance of Muhammad and His Holy Progeny (PBUT) is associated with Almighty Allah. She said that although Almighty Allah is the Master of everything, yet He did not call everything of His-own except for the one thing, the same way He did not claim all the Anwar (divine, light knowledge) associated with Him, except one Noor which is called the Noor e Awaleen (the very first divine light); which is the source of the creation of the Holy Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH & HHP) and his Pious Progeny (PBUT). That is why the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) said, “looking at the glorious face of Ali (PBUH) is also a form of worship because Me (PBUH & HHP) and Ali (PBUH) have been created from the same divine light”.

She said that along with the captive men of Karbala (PBUT), the captive women of Karbala (PBUT) also presented such great sacrifices, which are still like a beacon of light not only for the Muslim nation but also for the entire humanity. She said that for the elevation of the divine principles of Islam and for its propagation, the presentation of lives of every person from the pious progeny of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) is such a great accomplishment till the Day of Judgment which indebted Islam and the entire humanity to these personalities. Every person with conscience considers Karbala as symbol of righteousness and idealizes the path of Karbala in order to sacrifices everything in the way of Almighty Allah. She asserted that today, if women want their children to adopt piety and follow the path of righteousness then they will have to first adopt the principles of Hussainiat; this is the only way leading to the success and salvation in the life hereafter and this is the only path which is confirmed righteous; all virtue.

Earlier the mourning assembly was started with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran by respected Umm e Farwa Naqvi followed by the recitation of Hadith e Kisa by Shahr Bano Naqvi. Zakira Farhat Fatima, Zakira Khanam Zahra, Raeesa tul Al Hafaz Zainab Alviya and Umdata Al Hafaz Syeda Bint Ali Musa Moosavi also addressed the assembly.

(PBUH & HHP): Peace be upon him and on his holy progeny

(PBUH): Peace be upon him/her

(PBUT): Peace be upon them
