RAWALPINDI, December 29: In accordance with the announcement of Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Moosavi, the mourning assemblies of Hafta e Asiraan e Karbala (The week of the Captives of Karbala) are being held in Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 under the auspices of the Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam, UWF, Girls Guide and Sakina Generation. 

On Wednesday while addressing to the mourning assembly of Hafta e Asiraan e Karbala, Dr. Nida Kazmi said that Imam Hussain (PBUH) practically proved that the standards of greatness do not belong to any specific race or nation but are held in the devotion, adoration and subjugation of Allah’s will. She said that to defeat Zionism and imperialism, we will have to associate ourselves with Hussainiat. The grandson of the Holy Prophet Imam Hussain (PBUH) received martyrdom in the plane of Karbala but did not accept to bow down to the corrupt, immoral and impious Yazid. She asserted that after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (PBUH), Hazrat Zainab and Imam Zain ul Abideen (PBUT) delivered such charismatic sermons, which took off the artificial veil of Islam from the face of Yazidiat. She stressed that Imam Hussain, the son of Imam Ali (PBUH) gave his life for Islam while the sermons of the captives of Karbala (PBUT) elevated Hussainiat.

Dr Nida Kazmi said that after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (PBUH), whatever the Ummah (the so called follower of Islam) paid to Ahlebait (PBUT) as a reward of the Prophethood, the mourners of Imam Hussain (PBUH) while keeping its remembrance alive in the form of mourning, express their solidarity with oppressed. She said that in our Majalis and the mourning processions, we display articles (such as Alam, Tazea and Juhla…) associated with the tragedy of Karbala to show our love and affection towards Imam Hussain (PBUH) and the captives of Karbala (PBUT). She pledged that the lover of Imam Ali (PBUH) and the mourners of Imam Hussain (PBUH) will always prefer Azadari over everything else and will keep observing the mourning of Imam e Hussain (PBUH) till 8 of Rabiul Awal by following the code of Azadari presented by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Moosavi. On this occasion, Hafeeza Khatoon and Sheharbano Naqvi recited the eulogies.
