The sacrifices of the captives of Karbala (PBUT) for the elevation of the religion and Sharia is a beacon of light for humanity – Allama Nasir Abbas The mother land can only be turned into a hub of peace by adopting the ideology of the Quaid e Azam and Allama Iqbal for the governmental system; in the Majalis e Hafta Aseeran e Karbala tributes were paid to the founder of Pakistan Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah; the rulers instead of making political moves should ensure the safety of the public – Addresses of speakers to the Majlis e Aza at Pandora RAWALPINDI, December 26: Programmes of Majalis and procession in connection with Hafta e Aseeran e Karbala continued throughout Pakistan on Tuesday 25 December as announced by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Ulema O Zakreen and Waizeen highlighted the great sacrifices of the captives of Karbala (PBUT), especially of the noble ladies of the Holy Prophet’s household. In the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad under the auspices of different organizations, Imam Bargahs and Aza Khanas, programmes of Majalis and matamdari were held in remembrance of the captives of Karbala (PBUT). A Majlis e Aza was organized at Raja House Pandora Saedpur Road under the auspices of Raja Iltaf Hussain. Allama Malik Nasir Abbas Multan while addressing to the Majlis said that Imam Hussain (PBUH) is a great savior of humanity who offered matchless sacrifice for human values and dignity, which is a source of insight, knowledge and achievement for living nations. He said that in Karbala along with their men folk, the women also presented sacrifices with great courage and bravery, which are a beacon of light for the world of humanity. Allama Shaikh Ijaz Hussain Mudaras in his address said that Islam teaches respect for everyone and is a messenger of peace and harmony, as it has never advocated aggression and always guides to adopt defensive strategy. In his address Sheikh Ijaz said that messengers of truth have always raised their voice against oppression and brutality even on the top of spears, as a result of which Azadari continues till today. He said that Azadari is a peaceful protest of civilized humanity against cruelty and oppression. He stressed upon the fact that whenever Yazidiat raised its head, Hussainiat courageously confronted it. Allama Qamar Haider Zaidi in his address said that the family of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) proved to the world that being on the right path, and in order to achieve pious objectives, even if one has to sacrifice every thing then one should not hesitate to do so. He said that in Karbala the pious ladies (PBUT) set a great example by standing shoulder to shoulder with their men and are beacons of light for the whole of humanity. He said that the sacrifices offered by every member of the Household of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) for the survival and uplifting of Islam had secured a great respect and honor for them from humanity as a whole. Zakir Liaqat Hussain Samandwana in his address said that if the women of the world wish their children to follow the right path than they must respect Hussainiat by following in the footsteps of the ladies of Karbala. Zakir Qazi Wasim Abbas, Zakir Mustansar Hussain Naqvi, Zakir Tanveer Hussain and Zakir Gulzar Hussain Gondal also addressed to the Majlis, which was hosted by Qazi Wafa Abbas. After the Majlis procession of Alam e Ghazi Abbas (PBUH) was brought out and several Matami Sangats and Nohakhwan parties performed Matamdari. On this occasion a resolution was passed in which while expressing a concern over the continued terrorism demanded from the rulers that instead of playing political moves they should ensure the safety of the public. The resolution, while paying tributes to the founder of Pakistan the Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, made it clear that the mother land can only be turned into a hub of peace if the ideology of the Quaid e Azam and Iqbal is adopted into the governmental system. In another resolution the mourners reiterated their stance of giving preference to Azadari over all other things, while following the Code of Azadari issued by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Under the auspices of Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam (Regd.) a Majlis was organized at Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad. Khatiba Ale Nabi Muhtarma Syeda Kiran Abidi while addressing said that the Holy Quran is a living miracle of Almighty Allah and as per the traditions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP), in order to under stand it, the teachings of his Holy family (who will never be separated from each other until the day of Judgement) must be followed. Mohtarma Anjum Nighat, Syeda Binte Mousa Moosavi, Mohtarma Saima Naqvi and Syeda Sheharbano Naqvi also addressed to the Majlis.
