The teachings of the Holy Quran and the Holy Ahlebait (PBUT) is a source for all truth seekers; the government should take concrete steps to root out terrorism – address of Ulema on the beginning of the week in remembrance of the captives of Karbala (PBUT)

RAWALPINDI, December 25: The “Hafta e Aseeran e Karbala (PBUT)” commenced throughout the country as announced by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. On this occasion mourning assemblies were held and procession were brought out throughout Pakistan including Azad Kashmir and the northern areas. Ulema O Zakireen and Waizeen paid their tributes to the captives of Karbala, especially the noble ladies of the Holy Prophet’s household while highlighting their great sacrifices. In the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad mourning assemblies and Matamdari were organized in different Imam Bargahs and Aza Khanas under the auspices of different organizations in remembrance of the captives of Karbala (PBUT).

Under the auspices of Anjuman e Kaneezan e Imam ul-ASR Wal-Zaman a mourning assembly in remembrance of the captives of Karbala (PBUT) was organized at Shoabe Abi Talib (PBUH). Khateeba Ale Nabi Muhtarma Syeda Bint e Ali Mousavi while addressing to the assembly said that the Holy Quran is a living miracle for the people of all eras, which is a proof of Islam’s sanctity and integrity. She said that within Allah’s system of guidance, teachings of the Quran and life of holy Prophet’s household is a source for all truth seekers. She said Azadari is the universal message of Hussainiat and reiterated the stance that all the mourners of Imam Hussain (PBUH) will give preference to Azadari over all other things, while following the Code of Azadari issued by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

She said, the Household of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) lived the Holy Quran through their character and deeds, which if followed, can resolve the difficulties, problems, grief, agony and calamities faced by humanity. After the assembly Alam Sarkar Ghazi Abbas (PBUH) was taken out and matamdari was performed.

An assembly in remembrance of the captives of Karbala was held at shaley wely under the auspices of Syed Ibrar Hussain Rizvi. While addressing to the Majlis Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said that Islam is a combination of Wala o Aza and emphasized that Hazrat Imam Hussain (PBUH) has given eternal life to Islam by sacrificing himself. He said that Hussainiat must be followed to convert the World into a hub of peace.

He said that the addresses of the noble ladies of the Household of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) in the streets of Kufa O Sham and in the courts of Yazid and Ibn e Zayad is a defining chapter in the history of Hussainiat. He said that Hazrat Imam Hussain (PBUH) conquered Karbala while Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) and Zainul Abidin (PBUH) shattered the courts of Kufa o Sham with their heart rendering addresses. He said that had the Sharikatul Hussain Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) not offered sacrifices the victory of Karbala would have been incomplete.

On this occasion a resolution was passed unanimously by the participants of the mourning assembly in which the continuous terrorism, bloodshed and mayhem in the country was condemned and it was demanded from the government that it should take serious and concrete actions to root out terrorism; in this regards the Anti Terrorism Act should be implemented in spirit and to the letter. The banned groups must be restricted who are roaming about freely and are joining political alliances and are also part of the peace committees. In the resolution the loss of the lives of the senior politician and leader of the ANP Bashir Bloor and other innocent people were considered the heinous crime committed by the enemies of the religion and the motherland.
