The rulers have become insensitive and they start waiting for another incident and funeral after the earlier ones, terrorists are free while people are in the grip of fear and are being harassed. News about Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya’s support to Dr. Tahir ul Qadir are baseless and any type of political activities till the conclusion of Ayyam Aza-e-Hussain on 8 Rabiul Awwal are contrary to the beliefs of the Maktab-e-Tasheyyo. The captives of Karbala defended the objective of Shahadat-e-Hussain and preached oppressed the courage to live by laying the foundation of Azadari of Syed-us-Shuhada and set the path to defeat the oppressors. These views were expressed by him while addressing the office-bearers of Hafta Aseeran-e-Karbala Committee, founders of Majalis and mourners in connection with the arrangements of ‘Hafta Aseeran-e-Karbala” being observed from 10 to 17 Safar-ul-Muzaffar on the call of Quaid e Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Syed Mazhar Shah said the incident of Qissa Khwani Bazaar in Peshawar is enough to open the eyes of powers that be and no one should forget that if the fire of terrorism continued spreading like this then no one would remain safe, therefore, all patriotic forces should ponder over together and review the reasons of increase in incidents of terrorism since Zia’s martial law to-date and adopt a joint and consensus line of action without giving any relaxation to anyone. He said the powers that be will have to take steps with sincerity of purpose to root out terrorism as no difficulty is irresolvable. He said extending no help to the victims of Dhoke Syedan incidents by the Federal government poses a big question mark. He paid tributes to the bereaved families of the martyrs of Azadari incidents for giving priority to the grief of Imam Hussain (PBUH) over that of their family members. Dr. S. Zaman, in his address on the occasion, said that Hafta Aseeran-e-Karbala will begin by Majalis-e-Aza and Matamdari programmes from Monday. He demanded from the government to make special arrangements for giving protection to these programmes all over the country. He called upon the mourners to remain alert and give priority to the interests of the religion, Sharia, the nation and the country over all other matters and present condolence of Aseeran-e-Karbala in Bargah-e-Risalat. He said every conspiracy and mischief of the enemies of the religion and the motherland would be defeated while following the Code of Azadari announced by the Quaid e Millat Jafariya during Majalis-e-Aza and Matami processions. He said there is need to promote Hussainiat in rooting out oppression and turn the world into a hub of peace. Names of conveners for within and without were also announced to organise programmes during the Hafta Aseeran-e-Karbala. The conveners and secretaries announced respectively, are: Zulfiqar Ali Raja, Ghulam Abbas Haideri (Islamabad); Zulfiqar Jameel, Babar Suhail (Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa); Sardar Tariq Jafri, Fida Changezi (Balochistan), Allama Waqar Hassan Taqvi, Badar Ali Tirmizi (Sindh), Asghar Khan Al-Hussaini, Khwaja Sagheer Jafri (Azad Kashmir), Allama Hussain Muqaddasi, Zamir Javed Khan Advocate (Punjab); and Akhund Ghulam Muhammad Ammoni, Agha Ali Moosavi Iskanderabad (Gilgit-Baltistan).
