Youm e Noor was observed with great religious zeal and reverence throughout the country

The worship of Imam Musa Al Kazim in the prisons of Baghdad and his long prostration in front of Almighty Allah astonished everyone; in order to root out terrorism, the government should immediately get freedom from the colonial power and must place its trust in Almighty Allah – Addresses of Nelofar, Sheikh Ijaz, Mustansar Naqvi, Mohsin Humdani and other Ulema to Majalis of Noor

RAWALPINDI, December 22:  As per the announcement of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi Youm e Noor was observed with religious zeal and respect to pay homage to Imam Musa Kazim (PBUH). On this occasion Majalis e Noor were organized in all the big and small cities and towns throughout the country. Ulema e Karam, Waezeen and Zakreen highlighted the pious character of seventh Imam, Imam Musa Al Kazim (PBUH) and said that practical following of Imam’s pious character is the source of success in this world and salvation in the world hereafter. In the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad special programmes and gathering were also held in this regard.

A Majlis e Noor was held at Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad under the auspices of UWF, Girls Guide, Sakina Generation and Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam. On this occasion while addressing to the Majlis Nilofar Fraz said that a lesson of bravery, courage and forbearance, which Hazrat Imam Mousa Al Kazim (PBUH) taught to humanity is a beacon of light for the oppressed of the world.  She reminded those present that prophets, messengers, saints and Godly people confronted tyrant rulers, dictators, and oppressors in every era and restored justice and fair-play and defeated oppression, brutality and suppression using the strongest weapon of patience and forbearance. She said that to fulfil the heavy responsibilities entrusted on Muhammad (PBUH & HHP) and his Holy Progeny (PBUT) by Almighty Allah, they did not kept quiet but helped the oppressed and have-nots. Ume Farwa and Syeda Sheharbano Naqvi recited the verses of the Holy Quran and Hadis e Kisa while Sara Nusrat Nayab and Syeda Zainab Alviya paid their tributes to the family of the Holy Prophets on the birth anniversary of Imam Musa Al Kazim (PBUH). Syeda Salma Naqvi conducted proceedings of Majlis. 

Another Majlis e Noor was held at Imam Bargah Nasir ul Aza, Allama Sheikh Ajaz Hussain Mudaris while addressing to the Majlis said that the pious personalities of Islam played a vital role for the protection and propagation of the pious aims and objectives of Islam; the master of the Universe Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (PBUH) topped the list of those personalities who performed exemplary deeds. He said the great personality of the family of the Holy Prophet, Hazrat Imam Musa Kazim (PBUH) was firm and strong in nature and performed his deeds for the supremacy of justice and fair-play and to give new heights to righteousness. He confronted the oppressors of his time and bore the brunt of prison but did not bow down on front of the tyrants of his era.  

Ijaz Mudaris said that every day the world of humanity is facing a calamity in the form of terrorism, mayhem, carnage, looting and oppression; predictions put forward by people with strange imagination and no faith proved to be lies. He said that arrival of doomsday before coming back of Jesus (PBUH), the invasion of Sufyani and Dajal and reappearance of Imam Mahdi (PBUH) is just a dream and the those false powers of the world who were claiming that the world will end on 21^st December were all proved to be wrong. Allama Ijaz said that it is a time that they should adopt the right path and accept Islam as the righteous religion because it has all the solutions for every question and problem faced by humanity.  

Haeyate Tulbae Islamia also held Majlis e Noor at Ali Hall where Allama Mustansar Hussain Naqvi while addressing to the Majlis said that Imam Musa Al Kazim (PBUH) experienced all kinds of hardships in captivity with great courage where he was poisoned by the regime of his era as a result of which he (PBUH) kissed martyrdom in a prison. Mustansar Naqvi said that Imam Musa Al Kazim (PBUH) was kept captive in different prisons of Baghdad who accepted all types of hardships; his worship and long prostration to Almighty Allah in prisons astonished people of all eras who also recognised his greatness. Imam Musa al Kazim (PBUH) through his life taught humanity how to live in freedom with honour. 

Allama Syed Mohsin Humdani while addressing to a Majlis e Noor at Qasr e Abu Talib (PBUH) said that the pious character of the Holy family of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) is linked with each other as a continuous and unshakable struggle against oppression, brutality and barbarity. He said that had the Muslim nation adopted the path of these pious personalities then today their lives would not have been so miserable and unbearable neither the colonial powers would have the opportunity to take advantage of their weakness.  

On this occasion Syed Naseer Hussain Sabzwari put forward a resolution which was unanimously approved by the participants of the Majlis e Noor in which grave grief was expressed over the fact that the rulers while trampling over the honour of the “Days of Grief” are busy in their political activities while target killings of innocent public, security personnel and attack on the sensitive places have become the order of the day that is condemnable. Those who are in power issue statements whenever some thing goes wrong and wait for the next incident and instead of ensuring security measures are just busy in scoring their political objectives. It was reminded in the resolution that in a civilized and democratic countries of the world, there is no place of governing for those who fail to protect their public but in our country the reality is different.

It was also demanded from the government that if it is serious in rooting out terrorism then it should immediately get freedom from the colonial power and must trust in Almighty Allah. Those terrorists groups which were banned by the government, their activities with new identities, joining of the political alliances and their coverage on the media must be stooped forthwith; the peace loving forces of the country should display their hatred against these groups and must not let them mingle in the society. It was reminded in the resolution that the grief of Imam Hussain will be continued till 8 Rabiul Awwal and in this regard the mourners of Imam Hussain (PBUH) will follow the code of Azadari set by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.
