Attack on the workers of the prevention of polio team in Charsada, Karachi and Peshawar is a deceit of our archenemy -TNFJ Had the strict actions taken on the yesterday incidents then there would not have been further similar attacks; the public has been left at the mercy of the terrorists; together we will have to negate the conspiracy of the enemy; the government should ensure security of sensitive areas and the public – The reaction of the secretary general of the TNFJ Syed Mazhar Ali Shah RAWALPINDI, December 20: The secretary general of the TNFJ, Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate condemned the attack on the workers of the prevention of polio team in Charsada, Karachi and Peshawar and considered it a heinous crime committed by our archenemy. In a statement he said that had the government taken strict actions after the target killings of the female workers and volunteers of the prevention of polio team in Karachi, Peshawar and the attack on the PAF Engineering Centre with hand grenade then there would not have been further similar incidents and it seems like as if the government has left public on the mercy of the terrorists. He said that the continuous terrorism in the country is a heinous crime committed by the colonial powers and their stooges therefore it is the need of the hour that the rulers should demonstrate seriousness and wisdom. Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate said that the terrorists, by targeting sensitive places, security personnel and innocent civilians, are giving out a message that whenever they wish they can reach anywhere and everywhere. He said that the whole country, from Khyber to Karachi, is bleeding but the rulers are just relying on issuing statements; despite reinstating of NATO supply, drone attacks and terrorism are increasing due to which the public is psychologically affected. Apart from the unaccountable loss of lives, irreparable damage has been caused to the economy, therefore it is important that the government should do a clean up operation from Khyber to Karachi to wipe off terrorists, something which should not be delayed any further. He said that in this current sensitive scenario all the rulers and the politicians will have to work together and instead of pinning down each other, they should stop using the terrorists for their own political interests, should not include them in political alliances or allow the media to give them coverage. The public should also be vigilant in this regard and demonstrate hatred against these banned groups. Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate expressed his deep sympathy with the relatives of the female workers of the prevention of polio team who lost their lives in Karachi and Peshawar and prayed for early recovery of the injured as a result of attack on the PAF Engineering centre. He demanded that the government should improve security measures to ensure the safety of the public and their properties.
