The bomb blast in Jamrood, target killings of the director information and police officers in Quetta is a heinous crime committed by the enemy of the motherland – Mazhar Ali Shah

If growing unrest is not controlled it can be dangerous for the government and for the democratic system; the government has failed to provide safety and security to the public; strict notice must be taken against the activities of the banned groups with new identities and their joining of the political alliances – the reaction of the secretary general of the TNFJ

RAWALPINDI, December 18: The secretary general of the TNFJ Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate condemned the loss of more then one and a half dozen innocent lives including women and children as a result of the bomb blast in Jamrood, target killings of the director information Khadim Hussain Noori on Adalat Road and two police officers ASI Sangeen Khan and constable Raouf Rajab and considered these crimes a continuation of terrorism in the country, a heinous crime committed by the enemy of the motherland.

In a statement issued from the headquarters of the Maktab e Tasheyyo the general secretary of the TNFJ said that incidents of terrorism, target killings, unrest and carnage in Khaiber Pakhtoon Kha, Balouchistan, Karachi and FATA have become the norm. Those who are in power after repeating the same old statements believe that they have carried out their duties; the federal interior minister does provide prior information to the public of the terrorists entering into different cities but is unsuccessful in stopping these crimes, which are the cause of the loss of innocent lives. He said that those political elements and the banned groups who call for strikes further the objectives of terrorists by stopping the daily business routine and the government has given these elements a free hand. He said that just like previous governments, the current government also did not take any serious actions to root out terrorism due to which the terrorist elements seem successful in turning the norm of the daily routine into anarchy. He said that terrorist incidents like the heinous attack on Peshawar airport on the night of 15th December is an act of mutiny against the motherland and is an open challenge for the government. He emphasized on a fact that it is the foremost duty of the government to provide security to the lives and property of the public, something that the current government has failed badly.

Mazhar Ali Shah made it clear that if the continued unrest is not controlled it can be dangerous for the government and the democratic system. Therefore it is important that the government should utilize all its energies to root out terrorism in the final days of its tenure. He said that taking this matter lightly can be dangerous for the sovereignty of the motherland and therefore it is of utmost importance that a long-term solution be found, as there is no margin left for delaying this matter.

The secretary general of the TNFJ demanded from the government to take severe actions against the banned groups and strict notice must be taken against their activities with new identities, joining of the political alliances and their coverage in the media. He also advised to the public to practically show a dislike towards these banned groups.
