RAWALPINDI, December 9: In accordance with the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Zain al Abideen (PBUH) programmes of Majalis and Matami processions continued on Monday. Under the auspices of Syed Iftikhar Hussain Mashaadi, Syed Joan Ali Mashaadi, Syed Zahoor Hussain Shah Naqvi and Akhtar Hussain Shah Naqvi a majlis e aza was held at Khema e Sadaat, PMO Road near Taxila Museum.

Allama Hussain Muqadasi while addressing to the Majlis e Aza highlighted the pious character of Imam Zain al Abideen (PBUH) and great services rendered by him for the mission of Hussainiat. He said that although Imam (PBUH) was captive he (PBUH) took stand against Yazidi conspiracies and his false propaganda. because of the courageous efforts of Imam Zain al Abidin (PBUH) the evil doings of Yazid got exposed to the rest of the world.

Allama Sheikh Ijaz Hussain Mudaris said that Imam (PBUH) was an eyewitness of the tragedy of Karbala and an heir of Imam Hussain (PBUH) whose whole life was dedicated for the protection and propagation of the mission of Imam Hussain (PBUH). Imam Sajjad (PBUH) was very kind to poor and needy and only in Madina he used to look after more than hundred families. He never let poor people come to his door rather he used to take sacks of provisions on his back and delivered them to poor and needy in the darkness of night. .

Renowned scholar Chaudhry Mushtaq Hussain while addressing to the participants said that Imam Zain al Abideen (PBUH) was a shining star of the family of Imamat O Ismat whose spiritual supremacy was recognized by even his enemies. Centuries have passed but history could not witness a Godly person like Imam Sajjad (PBUH). Moulana Waqar Hussain Naqvi Alqumi, Mufti Basim Zahiri, Zakir Zuriat Imran Shirazi, Moulana Asad Abbas Naqvi, Zakir Zain Abbas Zaini, Zakir Shoukat Abbas Naear, Zakir Qasid Hussain Shah and young speaker Muntazar Mehdi also addressed to the Majlis. On this occasion a resolution was passed by the participanst of the Majlis in which the government was demanded to bring to justice the culprits behind the incidents of terrorism in Quetta, Karachi, Dera Ismail Khan and Rawalpind. To conclude the Majlis, a Matami procession was brought out in which matami sangats of Hassan Abdal, Ghai Gufan, Samot and other Matami organizations of Taxila participated. The procession after passing through its designated route via the residence of Syed Akhtar Hussain Shah and Syed Zahoor Hussain Shah culminated at Imam Bargah Qasr e Zahra (PBUH). On this occasion MFP, MO, MSO and Ibrahim Scouts provided their services for the security arrangements.

In connection with Universal Ashra e Beemar e Karbala (PBUH) a majlis e aza was held under the auspices of Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam, UWF, Sakina Generation and Girls Guide. Khatiba Kiran Abidi while addressing to the Majlis e Aza said that Beemar e Karbala Hazrat Imam Zain al Abideen (PBUH) was a symbol of courage determination and patience. Imam (PBUH) after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (PBUH) through his eloquent speeches and addresses exposed the Yazidi conspiracy and shattered the foundation of Yazidiat in the courts of Yazid and Ibne Ziyad. She said that today the agents of Yazidiat are defaming Islam once again and therefore their evil designs can only be defeated by adopting the pious example of Imam Sajjad (PBUH). She said that captives of Karbala (PBUT) propagated the message of Imam Hussain (PBUH) in the bazars of Kofa and Shaam and in the courts of Yazid and Ibne Ziyad with great courage. The pious character of the ladies of the household of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) is a beacon of light for the women world. On this occasion Abeela Kazmi recited Marsia while Matamdari was performed by the participants of the Majlis.

Allama Basharat Hussain Imami Addressed to the Majlis e Aza held at Imam Bargah Qasr e Khadija tul Kubra (PBUH), Tarlai Kalan, Islamabad which was concluded on Matamdari.
