RAWALPINDI, August 1: According to the announcement of the Quaid e Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, the commemorative programmes of the death anniversary  of the first lady of Islam, the mother of the faithful, Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra concluded with great religious enthusiasm, respect and esteem. On the occasion Majalis were held and replicas of the coffin of Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (PBUH) were brought out in the ladies Majalis. Ulama e Karam illuminated briefly the life of Ummul Momineen in their addresses and paid immense homage to her priceless sacrifices rendered for Islam.

Majalis were also held in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. In Ali Masjid, Satellite Town, a Majlis e Huzn was organized by advocate Syed Moazzam Ali Rizvi. Allama Nasir Abbas while addressing to the Majlis said that Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadija (PBUH) is that great lady, who sacrificed all her wealth for Islam and lived a deprived life in Shoabe Abi Talib (PBUH) with patience and serenity; in these circumstances she only praised Allah and his Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and instead of complaining she always kept herself busy in remembrance and thankfulness towards Allah.

Allama Qamar Haider Zaidi while addressing to the gathering said that in the tenth year of Baisat she was freed from Shoabe Abi Talib and in the same year benevolent & patron of Islam, Momin e Qureish, Hazrat Abu Talib  and benefactor of Islam Hazrat Khadija (PBUT) both died. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was greatly grieved about the demise of his greatest devotees, who supported Him all their lives. He (PBUH & HHP) was so mournful that he named that year as Aam ul Huzn (Year of Mourning). Allama Zaidi said that Hazrat Khadija (PBUH) had strengthened the religion of Islam with all her wealth and resources.

Mufti Basim Abbas Zahiri, Zakir Gulzar Gondal, Molana Malik Ajlal Haider Alhaidri, Syed Raza Kazmi, Syed BuTurab Askari, Ishfaq Hussain, Syed Samaar Zaidi also addressed the assembled.

The convener of the TNJF's committee for Aalmgheer Youm ul Huzn, Allama Basharat Hussain Imami  while addressing to the Majlis e Aza at Markazi Imam Bargah Qasr e Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (PBUH) said that Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (PBUH) is that great benefactor of Islam on whom Quran is the witness to her benevolence. This respectable lady has the honour of being first to validate the messenger of Islam (PBUH & HHP). Islam was strengthened with the sacrifices of her wealth and the sacrifices made by her progeny. She was the best in her tribe and when she got married with the messenger she gave all her wealth to him due to which Islam has got strong foundation for its economic and financial growth, while the most important personality of Arab, uncle of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) and father of Imam Ali, Hazrat Abu Talib (PBUH) provided manpower. At the end of the Majlis Matam Dari was held.
