As per the directives of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi the Youme Tarheem was observed in the remembrance of the martyrs of Siachin; supplications were offered for the safety of the armed forces personnel who take stand against enemies in all types of harsh conditions; the incident of the avalanche saddened the whole nation – Address of Allama Qamar Zaidi, Aqeel Kazmi and Zainab Alviya to the Majalis of Tarheem

RAWALPINDI, April 10: As per the directives of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi the Youm e Tarheem was observed on Tuesday throughout the country in remembrance of the armed forces personnel who lost their lives due to the avalanche in Gayari sector of Siachin and the victims of target killings and suicide attacks in Gilgit Baltistan, Karachi and Quetta; On this occasion in the Masajid of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan as well as throughout the country recitation of the Holy Quran and Majalis e Tarheem were held under the auspices of different religious organizations and institutions. Special supplications were offered for the elevation of the status of the countrymen who lost their lives while defending the boundaries of the motherland. Aima e Masajid while addressing to the gatherings highlighted the philosophy of life and death. 

Allama Qamar Haider Zaidi while addressing to the Majlis e Tarheem held at Imam Bargah Zain ul Abideen (PBUH) said that making efforts for the propagation of good deeds is worship while sacrificing one’s life is considered martyrdom. Allama Qamar Zaidi said that the incident of Siachin is a grave national tragedy and the armed forces personnel who lost their lives in that tragedy are the national heroes; the whole nation is sharing the loss of the bereaved families. Allama Qamar Zaidi while appreciating the stance taken by the armed forces against enemies in all types of harsh conditions prayed for their safety. He said that currently terrorism is ruling everywhere which is a matter of great concern and highly condemnable.

The spokesman of the TNFJ while condemning the suicide attacks and target killings in Gilgit Balitisatn, Quetta and Karachi said that they are the continuation of the ongoing terrorism in the motherland, which is condemned by all Muslims alike. He demanded from the government to bring to justice the culprits of all the incidents of terrorism and to root out terrorism and establish long-term peace the Anti Terrorism Act must be implemented to the letter and its spirit.

Allama Aqeel Kazmi while addressing to the communal gathering held at Ali Hall expressed his grave grief that Pakistan became the target of terrorism for very long time and our archenemy is not letting any opportunity go by to harm us or to bow us down. He repeated the stance of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi that Pakistan is being punished for its Islamic ideology and for being a nuclear power.

Allama Abual Hassan Taqi the TNFJ president of Rawalpindi regional council while addressing to the Majlis e Tarheem at Jamia Masjid Sakhi Shah Peyara Choar Harpal Rawalpindi demanded from the government to bring to justice the culprits of all the incidents of terrorism. While condemning the drone attacks on the frontier area of Pakistan and flights of spy planes, he considered these activities against the sovereignty of the motherland Pakistan and demanded form the government that it should raise this issue in the UNO. He emphasized on the Muslim nation that it must get freedom from the clutches of the colonial powers.

A Majlis e Tarheem and the recitation of the Holy Quran were held at Shoabe Abi Talib (PBUH) under the auspices of Anjuman e Kaneezan e Imamul ASR Wal Zaman (PBUH). Syeda Zainab Alviya while addressing to the Majlis said that the incident of the avalanche had saddened the whole nation. She said that the whole nation salutes the armed forces who fight the enemy in such harsh conditions. During the Majlis Tarheem a resolution was passed by the participants in which grave concern was expressed over the current situation of Karachi, Quetta and Gilgit Baltistan. On this occasion the incidents of terrorism, suicide attacks and target killings were highly condemned and those heinous crimes were considered to be the actions of the enemy of Islam and Pakistan. In the Resolution it was demanded from the government that in order to establish long-term peace in the motherland it should deal with the banned groups with an iron hand and they should not be allowed to operate with new identities. The external financial aid of these groups must also be completely banned. In the resolution it was reminded that due to the free hand given by the rulers, the politicians and the media to these banned groups, terrorism is increasing day by day, therefore all patriotic forces for the sake of the safety and integrity of the religion and the motherland must show hatred towards terrorist elements.
