Alamgeer Youm e Inhedaam e Jannat ul Baqee commemorated on the call of Tehreek e Nafaz e Fiqh e Jafariya

Participation from all schools of thoughts, Reconstruction of the holy shrines and restoration of their dignity is obligatory - Addresses of Scholars, Ulemaa, and political leaders  

LAHORE, September 8: In connection with the announcement of Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, Alamgeer Youm e Inhedaam e Jannat ul Baqee was commemorated in Punjab with religious spirit and respect. Like other cities of the country, a rally was organized in the provincial capital at Press Club Lahore, under the auspices of Youm e Inhedaam e Jannat ul Baqee Committee for District Lahore to protest against the tragic incident of demolition of the holy Shrines in the cemeteries of Jannat ul Baqee and Jannat ul Muallah in the cities of Medina and Makah. The protest rally was led by the provincial convener of Youm e Inhedam e Jannat ul Baqee Committee Syed Akhtar Hussain Bukhari, District convener Shahzada Ghulam Hassan Bhatti, Allama Kazim Turabi, Allama Karamat Abbas Haidery, Khateeb e Ahl e Sunnat Sahibzada Hamid Raza Sultani al Qadri, Allama Haider Abbas Naqvi, Syed Ibrar Hussain Kazmi, Syed Zulfiqar Haider Naqvi, Zeeshan Haider Naqvi, Syed Hassan Kazmi, provincial president of MSO Mudassir Manzoor, Syed Rohaan Haider, Syed Zain Jafree, Adnan Haider Bhatti and Malik Ali Furqani. While addressing on the occasion, Allama Kazim Turabi said that the respect of Jannat ul Baqee and Jannat ul Muallah is obligatory on the whole mankind while the sacred personalities of Islam buried in the cemeteries of Jannat ul Baqee and Jannat ul Mualla are considered respectable by all schools of thought. Therefore, the reconstruction of their holy shrines to restore the dignity of these shrines is the responsibility of each and every Muslim. Khateeb e Ahl e Sunnah, Hamid Raza Sultani said that 8th Shawwal is the day of mourning while every Muslim is participating in it to pay condolence to the holy Prophet PBUH and his pious progeny. Hamid Sultani further stated that unless the dignity of these demolished shrines is not restored, Muslim Ummah would not be able to get rid of the problems. He said that to get rid of the problems it is necessary to maintain and respect the signs attributed to the heroes of Islam. He demanded from all the Muslim states that they should take concrete actions in this regard or otherwise, the followers of the holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad PBUH and Aal e Muhammad PBUT should be allowed to reconstruct those shrines by themselves. On this occasion a resolution presented by Syed Hassan Kazmi was passed which praised the efforts of Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi in commemorating the Youm e Inhidaam e Jannat ul Baqee with respect and honor and for highlighting the importance of their reconstruction for the last twenty five years. The resolution vowed to act upon the orders of Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi by all means. The resolution also demanded that the government of Pakistan must contact the government of Saudi Arabia and protest against the act of demolition of the holy Shrines and demand immediate restoration of these Shrines of Jannat ul Baqee and Jannat ul Mualla. Allama Haider Abbas Naqvi and Allama Karamat Abbas Haidery also addressed the rally. The participants were carrying different banners and placards with slogans and demands for the reconstruction of the holy Shrines. Later the participants dispersed peacefully after paying condolence to the holy Prophet through matamdari.
