Eid ul Fitr is a blessed day for obedience and subservience to Almighty Allah and for the reflection of unity and brotherhood of the Muslim nation The nation is at heaven’s mercy; Judiciary and armed forces are the last hope for Pakistan - Approval of the different resolutions on the main Shia Eid Congregation RAWALPINDI, September 3: Likewise the other cities of Pakistan, in Rawalpindi and its outskirts Godly people paid thanks to Almighty Allah in prostration for the blessings and bounties bestowed upon them in the month of Ramadan. In Rawalpindi, the main Eid ul Fitr congregation of the Fiqh e Jafariya was held at Boys’ High School Satellite Town which was led by Syed Waqar Hussain Naqvi, the special representative of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Moosavi. While addressing to the congregation Allama Naqvi said that for obedience and subservience to Almighty Allah, Eid ul Fitr is a blessed day which also reflects the unity and brotherhood in the Muslim nation. He presented the abstract of one of the sayings of master of the faithful Hazrat Ali (pbuh) that the day in which no sin is committed is like the Eid Day. On this occasion, a resolution, presented by Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi was passed unanimously by the audience in which great anxiety was expressed that countrymen are celebrating the Eid in such conditions when imperialistic powers are invading everywhere. Since Pakistan not only holds Islamic ideology but it is also an atomic power and, as such, has become a thorn in the eye of our enemy who is utilizing all its energies to destabilize the country. At such a crucial period it is the duty of the whole nation to give priority to the religion, the motherland and humanity over everything so that every conspiracy of the satanic powers can be failed. The Muslims of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq are being crushed and persecuted brutally whilst in the motherland, Pakistan terrorist incidents have become the order of the day. In the resolution, the attack on the scouts’ camp in Chitral and firing on the Quetta Express in Baluchistan were highly condemned and grief was expressed over the current situation in Pakistan where no day goes by without an incident of terrorism, especially in Karachi which is in the grip of bloodshed and target killings. No city or person is safe from terrorism and everyone is grieved and crying for help but there is no one to hear their outcry. The only surviving hope is the judiciary and Pakistan armed forces who will have to fulfill their responsibilities. In the resolution it was also demanded from the government that to establish durable peace in the country and especially in Karachi, concrete policies should be implemented so that internal and external conspiracies can be failed. The way all the schools of thought unanimously struggled for the creation of Pakistan, the same way they should continue their struggle for the protection of Pakistan and prove with their actions that no power in the world can break the bond of unity amongst us. Pakistan was created to survive, which it will indeed, and the bad wishes of foes will not be tolerated at any cost. Great anxiety was also expressed in the resolution that even after being banned, certain groups have not only been working, but have also been given great coverage and protocol in the media and at political gatherings. It was also said in the resolution that if the government is sincere in implementing the Anti-terrorism Act, then it must take actions against banned organizations. In the Eid congregation, great solidarity was expressed with the oppressed nations and the Muslims of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq. It was also stressed upon the government that to solve the problems faced by the Maktab e Tasheyo, Moosavi Junejo accord of May 21st, 1985 should immediately be implemented. On this occasion a resolve was also reiterated that no sacrifice will be spared for the rights of Maktab e Tasheyo on the call of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi |
