For the revival of the dignity and honor of the womenfolk, association with pious ladies of the household of the Holy Prophet (pbut) is essential - Hamid Moosavi

The reason of all the blessings upon the city of Qum is Masooma e Qum whose glorious shrine is a place of appeal to Almighty for supplications – Address of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya to the special gathering of the women’s dignity day

RAWALPINDI, October 1: The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that to get rid of the menace of terrorism, unaccountable problems faced by the world and to revive the former dignity and honor of the womenfolk, association with pious ladies of the household of the Holy Prophet (pbut) is essential. This was said by him while addressing to a sermon at Aza Khana Masooma Qum Rawalpindi on Friday on the occasion of Youm e Azmat e Naswan in connection with the glorious birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatimah Bint e Imam Musa Kazim (pbuh).

Aqa e Moosavi reiterated that Islam exists in every corner of the world, even on the land of non-believers where it is gaining firm footage which is the result of unforgettable sacrifices made by Muhammad O Aal E Muhammad (pbut), whose every family member is matchless in their attributes. He said that the respected being of Hazrat Masooma Qum belongs to such a reputed family whose love is made compulsory by the Holy Quran. He said that understanding of their teachings, consciousness to their strategies and conveying all the discoveries made by them to the followers of truth and wisdom is essential. He iterated that it has been proven that on the lives of public the influence of their heroes and their achievements, successes and their conduct is always greatly dominated. That is the reason why people are curious to know about such personalities who remain famous, dignified and on high positions in their own time and had rendered such services which can be used as light of beacon for the coming generations. He said that among those pious characters, most prominent are prophets and apostles whose leader and their seal is the personality of Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh & hhp). It is said by the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) that my noor (divine light) was created first in the universe and I and Ali (pbut) are created of the same divine light. Then through pious and chaste people the source of this light transferred to Hazrat Abdul Mutalib and then to Hazrat Abdullah (pbuh) of whom it appeared in the form of Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh & hhp) and to Abu Talib (pbuh) which appeared in the form of Ali (pbuh) - the master of all the saintly people and the successor of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp). Then from Ali and Fatimah (pbut) the divinity of those personalities appeared who are the cause of all the glorification in the whole universe.

Aqae Moosavi said that one of those glorious personalities is Masooma Fatimah (pbuh), the daughter of Hazrat Musa Bin Jafar (pbuh), who is also known as Masooma e Qum. Imam Jafar e Sadiq (pbuh) says that Almighty Allah has a Haram which is Makah, The Holy Prophet’s (pbuh & hhp) Haram is Medina, the Haram of Hazrat Ali (pbuh) is Kufa since he migrated to Kufa from Medina in order to carry the business of caliphate from there and Qum has the privilege to be our haram because the daughter of one of my descendants would be buried in this land, the one who will visit her tomb will be blessed with paradise. Aqae Moosavi said that the honour of this city is because of the residence of pious and gentle people and due to that its inhabitants are living a peaceful life. The way Kazmain Sharifain are dignified and glorified because of Hazrat Imam Musa Bin Jafar (pbuh), the same way because of Masooma e Qum (pbuh) the glory and honor of the city of Qum is transparently clear to the whole world like the glory of Makah and Medina, Najaf and Karbala, Baghdad and Kazmain, Samra, Syria and Mashhad.

He quoted one of the sayings of Imam Jafar e Sadiq (pbuh) that an angel is making the shadow of his wings over the city of Qum and if someone proceeds towards Qum with evil intentions, the angel dissolve his plans like salt. While pointing at Isa Bin Abdullah, Imam (pbuh) said that May Allah have peace and mercy upon the people of Qum and may He bestowed His blessing on the land of Qum and May He send down His divine favor upon them and turn their vices into virtues, as it contains scholars, jurists and pious who are busy in worship and glorification to their Lord. Moreover, he said that the dust of Qum is pious, the inhabitants of Qum are from us and we are from them, the one who plan vice against them actually invites the wrath of Almighty Allah. He said that Qum is our land and for our followers, pious and most dignified. They accepted our Wilayat – the Wilayat e Ahlalbait. If the people of Qum do not betray their religious brothers, whom so ever will proceed to them with any evil intention will soon meet to his end and if they would betray their religious brothers, Allah will impose oppressors upon them. Verily the people of Qum are the helper of our Qa’im (pbuh) and the protector of the truth.  Then he saw towards sky and said “O Lord! protect the people of Qum from all kinds of mischiefs and vices”.

Aqae Moosavi narrated saying of Imam Musa Kazim (pbuh) that Qum is the residence of us - Muhammad O Aal E Muhammad and a place of protection for our followers. But a group among them will be destroyed because of disobedience to their ancestors and making fun of the weak. Even then Almighty Allah will protect its inhabitants from the evils of its enemies and this favor will only be given because of Masooma e Qum (pbuh).

He said that Imam Zamin O Thamin (pbuh) have said to Hazrat Saad that at your city one of our family daughter will be buried, Saad asked who will that be, my master! Imam (pbuh) replied my sister Fatimah Bint e Musa Kazim (pbuh), the one who visit her tomb with awareness to her position and rights will definitely be blessed with paradise, then he (pbuh) said that when one should visit her tomb  should stand facing towards Qibla and recite “Allah Akbar” 34 times and” Alhamd O Lillah”, “Subhanallah” 33 times each and then should say “ Peace be upon O Inheritor of Adam, the choice of Allah” (As-salaamo alaika yaa waaritha Aadam-a-sifwatillah).

He said that where Almighty Allah has blessed dignity and honor because of their services to His chosen people, so as so many ladies have who have left examples of great sacrifices and patience for the protection of Din O Sharia. Woman, which was being considered as sign of disgrace and dishonor and was treated even less than animals by the world of ignorance and could hardly stay long in the world from lap to grave, it were the ladies of blessed family who introduced the dignified picture of womanhood. Almighty has declared mother as possessor of paradise underneath her feet and daughter as the sign of His blessings. Islam recognized the status of woman. He said that respected members of the family of the Holy Prophet are the embodiment of piety and chastity and the best example for the humanity to follow.
