The pious life of Hazrat Ummul Baneen is a light of guidance for the women of the world. Ayam e Madre Abbas concluded; Zainab Alviya, Allama Imami and others addressed the majlis ISLAMABAD, May 21: In accordance with the announcement of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi the days of the mother of Abbas E Alamdar to commemorate the death anniversary of Hazrat Ummul Baneen; the spouse of Imam ul Mutaqeen, pride of the women, sign of piety and faith and the mother of the commander of the army of Imam Hussan Hazrat Abul Fazalil Abbas (pbuh), concluded on Friday. On this occasion in different cities and towns of Pakistan, including Rawalpindi and Islamabad different mourning assemblies were held which ended on Matamdari. While addressing to mourning assemblies and Friday congregational sermons Ullama and Zakireen highlighted the role of women in the light of the biography of Hazrat Ummul Baneen (pbuh) ۔ Under the auspices of UWF a mourning assembly was held at Imam Bargah Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad which was addressed by Mohtarma Zainab Alviya. While addressing the majlis she said that the mother of Qamar e Bani Hashim Hazrat Abbas e Alamdar sacrificed her four sons on Hazrat Imam Hussain (pbuh) for the cause of the elevation and preservation of Islam and set a great example of endure and loyalty. She further said that even today those who are presenting their lives for the freedom and liberty of Kashmir and Palestine have been brought up in the laps of those mothers who have adopted the character of Hazrat Ummul Baneen. Mohtarma Roohal Abbas Moosavi, Dukhtaran E Naqvi and Dr. Samina Rahat also addressed the assembly. In the end of the majlis Matamdari was performed. While addressing to the Friday congregational prayer sermon at Jamia Masjid Tarla’e Kalaan, president TNFJ for district Islamabad Allama Basharat Hussain Imami said that services of Hazrat Ummul Baneen and her sacrifices are coined as golden chapters of the history of Islam and her life is a light of guidance for the women of the world. He said that after the death of the mother of Hasnain (pbuh), Hazrat Fatimah Bint e Hazam, who later was known as Ummul Baneen, married Hazrat Ali (pbuh) and got the privilege to bring up Hazrat Zainab and Hazrat Kulsoom (pbut). She played a great role of a kind mother. Her four sons demonstrated bravery in the plane of Karbala and the eldest son Hazrat Abbas e Alamdar was honored as commander of the army of Imam Hussain (pbuh) as he was unique in his bravery and honor. He said that the pious grave of Hazrat Ummul Baneen is situated at Janatul Baqi and the restoration of the dignity and respect is compulsory upon the whole Muslim world. He said that Ummul Baneen (pbuh) is one of those great mothers whose pious character is an absolute example for the women of every age to follow and guarantee for salvation. |
