Hazrat Ummul Banin (pbuh), by sacrificing her four brave sons on Imam Hussain (pbuh) in the battlefield of Karbala established an everlasting example of patience and courage

RAWALPINDI, May 15:  The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya has said that the footsteps of the sacred family of the holy Prophet has to be followed to get freedom for the oppressed Muslim nations and to protect and promote the true spirit of a deen o Shariat. He said that the pious characters of the family members of the holy Prophet have always been role models for all types of people following which, not only the evil forces could be defeated but freedom movements of Kashmir, and Palestine, and regain of Alquds, can also be made possible. He said this while announcing to commemorate death anniversary of Hazrat Ummul banin (pbuh) who was the wife of Maula-e-Kainat Hazrat Ali ibn-e-Abi Talib (pbuh) and guardian of the children of Hazrat Syeda Fatima Zahra (pbuh), as Ayyam e Madar e Abbas e Alamdar (pbuh) from 16^th to 20^th May. In a statement issued from the head quarter of Maktab-e-Tashayyo, Agha Moosavi reminded that Hazrat Hajra, the wife of Hazrat Ibrahim (pbuh), was so respectful, but when she saw her child Hazrat Ismail thirsty, Hazrat Hajra could not control herself, and started running in search of water, but it was the courage of hazrat Ummulbanin (pbuh), who sacrificed her four brave sons on Imam Hussain (pbuh) in the battlefield of Karbala and created an everlasting example of patience and courage. Agha Moosavi clarified that Hazrat Hajra became severely shocked after hearing about the sacrifice of her son Hazrat Ismail (pbuh) and died in a few days but after hearing about the martyrdom of her sons,  Hazrat Ummulbanin offered Sajda-e-Shukr in the court of Alimighty Allah. As she was being told about her sons’ martyrdom, she interrupted and asked to tell about Imam Hussain (pbuh) first. As the announcer told her that her beloved son Abbas, Abdullah, Jafar and Usman have been martyred, she said that my sons have become “fidya-e-Hussain (pbuh)”. Agha Moosavi said that the love of Hazrat Ummulbanin for the grandson of the holy Prophet (S.A.W), has been a great example of her faith, and Taqwa. He said that Madar-e-Abbas (pbuh), Hazrat Ummulbanin has the honor to be the first organizer of Majlis-e-Aza-e-Hussain (pbuh) after the tragedy of Karbala. Agha Moosavi said that Almighty Allah proclaims in the Sura-e-Bani Israil of the holy Quran, “ No doubt that we elevated the respect of Bani Adam, and provided them rides on the soil and sea, and granted them Rizq to eat and made them the most esteemed amongst other creatures. In the mentioned verse, the word Bani Adam does not refer to any particular race, nation, color, or language or religion, but it refers to the whole humanity without any discrimination and therefore, the only distinguishing factor is declared to be the Taqwa.  As it has been announced in the holy Quran, that the most respectful amongst you is that who is “Muttaqee”. This attribute of being Muttaqee has been termed as a fruit of Prayers therefore, Almighty Allah says that “Worship your creator who created you and those who came before you so that you become Muttaqee (Sura-e-Baqra, Ayat, 33). This tells us that the real quality of a human being is Taqwa, therefore, Almighty Allah says that the dress of Taqwa is the best (Sura-e-Aeraaf, Ayat 36). Similarly, on another place in holy Quran, Almighty Allah instructs that arrange something for your journey of life, while the best thing to have is Taqwa (Sura-e-Baqra, Ayat 197). Same is the reason that wherever Islam gave status to men, at the same time it gave respect to women as well. Before Islam, women were considered to be a cause of humiliation in the society and therefore, women were murdered in their childhood. However, whenever Islam has mentioned about Saleheen (pious men) it has mentioned about Salehaat (pious women) also which included Hazrat Hawwa, Hazrat Hajra, Mother of Moosa, Aasiya bint-e-Mazahim, Mother of Issa, Mother of our holy Prophet Hazrat Amna, Mother of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (pbuh) and Ummul momneen Hazrat Khadeeja bint e Khuwelad, Mother of Hazrat Ali (pbuh), Hazrat Fatima Bin-e-Asad and mother of Qamar e Bani Hashim Hazrat Abbas e Alamdar (pbuh), Hazrat Ummulbanin bint e Hizaam. He said that Hazrat Ummulbanin has the honor of being servant of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (pbuh). Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the mother of Abbas-e-Alamdar Hazrat Ummulbanin’s bravery and courage has been an ideal for the womenfolk. He reiterated his resolve to protect the mission of Tauheed-o-Risaalat-o-Wilayat following the footsteps of Hazrat Ummulbanin (pbuh) while every conspiracy of the enemies of Islam and Pakistan with be thwarted by unity and solidarity. Meanwhile, a committee of TNFJ has been formed to arrange and coordinate for programs of Ayyam e Madar e Abbas e Alamdar (pbuh). Dr. S. Zaman has been nominated as the conveneir of the committee, Malik Salman Haidery, and Jawad Awan have been nominated as Deputy Convener and Secretary respectively while Professor Ghulam Sughra Malik will be the convener of the women wing.
