In order to get rid of the evil of terrorism the path of Hussainiat must be followed; Address of Mohtarma Hafeeza Khatoon, Dr Samina Rahat, Appa Syeda Hussain and others to the majlis e Aza at Jamia tul Murtaza Islamabad ISLAMABAD, May 13: Majlis e Hadis e Kisa sponsored Mrs. Jamila Younis was held at central Imam Bargah Jamia tul Murtaza Islamabad under the auspices of Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam, Umul banin WFP, Girls Guide and Sakina Generation. Ladies attended the gathering in large numbers. Zakira Hafiza Khatoon while addressing the gathering said that “Azadaari” - mourning rituals of Imam Hussain (pbuh) - has always been the most effective protest of oppressed against every kind of oppression and it will carry on till the rights of the destitute and oppressed are gained. She said that the secret of the existence of this universe is hidden in commemorating and remembering the sacrifice given by Imam Hussain (pbuh). She made it clear that Imam Hussain does not belong to a single school of thought or a particular sect, rather Imam Hussain is martyr of mankind and humanity, who sacrificed his own life along with his family members and loyal companions in order to preserve the true spirit of humanity and Islam and by doing so gave the eternal life to the divine message of truth and peace. Apa Syeda Hussain, while addressing the gathering said that presently whole world is threatened by the evil of terrorism and only way to rid humanity of this beast, is to follow the path of Hussain (pbuh) because Imam Hussain (pbuh) stood fast against the oppression and ill mentality of Yazid. She said that the decedents of Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) gave their blood to save Islam. Doctor Samina Rahat, while addressing the gathering, said that Imam Hussain (pbuh) sacrificed his whole family to save the religion of His Grand Father (pbuh). She said if humanity wants peace and blessing of the “Mercy for Mankind” Rehmatul Lil Alamin (pbuh), it will have to follow the teachings of His Holy Progeny (pbut). Raisa Tul Husffaz Zainab Alwia said that Imam Hussain (pbuh) made martyrdom as the sign of victory for the oppressed. She said even today the philosophy and spirit of Imam Hussain (pbuh) lays the guidelines for the freedom fighters of the world. She said that the battle of Karbala changed the course of history and the name of Yazid is considered a disgrace. Dukhtaran e Naqvi recited Marsia during the Majlis e Aza. |
