Matami Processions and mourning assemblies held on the martyrdom anniversary of the Lady of Heaven Hazrat Fatima Zahra (pbuh)

A central Matami Procession came out from Dhok Rata;

“The character of Hazrat Fatima (pbuh) is the light of guidance for the ladies of the world”, address of Agha Ali Hussain, Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi and other Ullamas.

RAWALPINDI, May 8: In accordance with the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Moosavi’s announcement “Aalami Ashra e Aza E Fatimiya”, Matami processions and mourning assemblies were held throughout the world as well as in Pakistan to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the beloved daughter of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Fatima Zahra (pbuh). In the Ladies Majalis coffin replica of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (pbuh) was brought out.

In Rawalpindi, the central procession of “Aalami Ashra e Aza e Fatimiya” was organized by Jarrar Hussain Jaffri, from Awan’s House Dhok Rata. The matami procession, after passing through its designated route, concluded at Imam Bargah Kashmirian. Before the procession, a mourning assembly was held at same venue. Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi while addressing the majlis said that the family of Muhammad O Aal e Muhammad (pbut) is the highest and most respected throughout the universe and reciting Darood on them is compulsory as Imam Shafi says that anyone who does not send Darood on them, his prayers are vain. He said that Hazrat Fatima Zahra (pbuh) is superior to all other women of the world because of her dignity and honor. He reminded everyone that Hazrat Zahra (pbuh) is like a shining star; just as the planet Venus  has a unique position among the stars because of its luminous shine, likewise Hazrat Fatima (pbuh) has superiority over all other women of the world because of her honor, perfection, elegance and mercy. Syed Qamar Zaidi said that Fatima (pbuh) is the only being to whom Holy Prophet called an extension of himself, and the only lady in the universe for whom Holy Prophet himself would stand as a mark of respect and would kiss her hands before giving her his own seat. He said that today the whole world is under the influence of oppression and barbarism.

Zakir Chaudheri Shajar Hussain Shajar, Zakir Imdad Hussain Shirazi, Zakir Ghulam Hussain Jaffar also addressed the assembly. While Raza Kazmi, Buturab Askari and other recited Marsia and Salam

While addressing mourning assembly conducted in connection with “Aalami Ashra e Aza e Fatimiya” under the executorships of Anjuman e Kanizaan e Imam ul Asr Wal Zaman at Shoab e Abi Talib, Syeda Bint e Ali Moosavi said that to prove the truthfulness and reality of Islam, the family of the pure souls rendered valuable services and by applying those examples the whole world can be made peaceful and evils can be removed forever. She said that every religion considers it an obligation to humanity to respect their religious heroes because these heroes did not serve for a particular nation but for the whole of humanity.  She said that being a daughter of the Holy Prophet she is the heir of prophethood, being spouse of Imam Ali (pbuh) she is the companion of Imamat and being the mother of Ai’ema, she is a perfect reflection of their qualities.

A mourning assembly was held at Qasr Shabir Dhok Sayadan, under the auspices of Syed Liaqat Hussain Kazmi. Allama Agha Syed Ali Hussain Najfi while addressing the majlis said that Quran extols Muhammad O Aal E Muhammad and its understanding is a guarantee fo salvation. He said the Love of Ali is a source of forgiveness of sins.

While addressing to an assembly at Qasr e Abu Talib, Mughal Abad Rawalpindi, Zakir Syed Iqbal Hussain Shah said that the position which the daughter of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Fatima possesses a prominent position among all other women. She is given the title of Syeda Tun Nisa’il Alameen (the chief of all the ladies of all time). He said that to get dignity and respect, all the women will have to prostrate at the door of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (pbuh). He said that Hazrat Fatima (pbuh) is the one who introduced the real character and image of women to society.

Through a resolution the audience condemned the terrorist attacks on innocent citizens in Quetta and declared this act as a hideous action of our arch enemy. Further they demanded from the government that to control terrorism it must stop the activities of the banned groups.

Under the executorships of Anjuman e Faiz e Panjtan, Women department, a mourning assembly was observed which was addressed by Zakira Mahreen Batool.
