RAWALPINDI, March 28: Additional Secretary General of Tehreek e Nafaz e Fiqh e Jafariya Syed Shujaat Ali Bukhari has said that continuous silence of international organizations on matters like American aggression against Libya, presence of NATO forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, while American intervention in Tunisia, Bahrain, and Syria is meaningful. He said this while addressing to the meeting of TNFJ regional council Rawalpindi on Sunday.

In the meeting presided by the regional president of TNFJ Allama Abul Hassan Taqi, incidents of burning of the copy of the Holy Quran by blasphemous Terry Jones, and American intervention in Muslim states were strongly condemned while Muslim rulers were insisted to either formulate a joint strategy against the oppression of the colonial powers and crimes of disrespecting the holy Quran and Islam or otherwise; get ready for more cruelty and subjugation.

Syed Shujaat Ali Bukhari lamented that several of the Muslim states are working as the agents and tools of international colonial powers and are supporting the American policies in Bahrain, Libya, Tunisia and Syria, by closing their eyes from the oppression and barbarism their Muslim brothers have been facing, He said that a cold reaction to all this oppression by these agents of colonial powers is merely unjustifiable. He said that if Muslim rulers do not free themselves from the American trap and play their role for the collective interests of Muslim Ummah, then they will also have to face severe consequences. He said that in a Muslim state, minorities enjoy equal rights and protection but on the contrary, rulers of several of the Muslim countries have deprived their people even from the right of peaceful protest which is equal to the murder of the people and these American agents will not be able to enjoy American assistance for long and will have to face aggression on their turn. Therefore, instead of working for their personal interest and kingship; they must prefer the interests of Muslim Ummah.

While condemning the on going target killing in the city of Karachi, Shujaat Bukhari said that to uncover the masterminds behind the continued target killing of innocent people, is the responsibility of provincial government and its allies as despite having peace meetings almost on daily basis, the menace of killing has not stopped which certainly is a food for thought. He said that on one hand, judiciary is issuing notices to the government institutions while on the other hand countless important cases are put in the state of abeyance and the judiciary has not even taken the notice of the problem of terrorism. He questioned that are the members of judiciary larger than life? If all of their decisions were always correct then there would not have been a right to appeal against those decisions. He said that not even a single case was registered against those who protested against the court’s decision on the case of Raymond Davis. He insisted that the Media and Judiciary must not act like opposition parties and therefore, they must play their legitimate role only.

The additional Secretary General of TNFJ demanded from the government that the chairmanship of Islamic ideology council and other government institutions must be rotated among all the recognized schools of thought in a turn by turn manner, while before inducting representatives in these institutions; the representative organizations of the recognized schools of thought must be taken in confidence.
