RAWALPINDI, March 26: In accordance with the announced Youm e Hurmat e Quran (Quran Dignity Day) by Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, Tanzeem Shia Aima Masajid protested against the audacious act of ruffian American priest who burnt the copy of the Holy Quran. On this occasion processions were carried out under the auspices of Ullamas.

While addressing to a conference; titled “Hurmat E Quran” at the central office of Al Kazim, chairman Allama Syed Hussain Kazmi said that according to Quran and Sunnah it is obligatory on the whole humanity to show respect to the signs of Allah but it is quite alarming that today all the infidels are prepared to disrespect the signs of Allah. Under an organized plan blasphemy against the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) was carried out. Every coming day Muslim religious sentiments are challenged by making blasphemous cartoons or sketches and now they have reached the height of the arrogance with a priest in Florida, Terry Jones, burning the copy of the Holy Quran.                                  

Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, while addressing an assembly at Jamia Masjid Khadija Tul Kubra - Tarlai Kalaan Islamabad stressed that rulers should be penitent because there is no friend of Muslims since all the colonial powers have become united against Muslims. While condemning the hypocritical attitude of UNO, he said that if UNO were a Human Rights promoter in its true sense, the problems of Kashmir and Palestine would have been solved and the Middle East and North Asia would have attained peace by providing Kashmir and Palestine the right of plebiscite. He said that the anti-Islamic agenda and policies of UNO have manifested and warned that if the UNO does not change its current hypocratical attitude, soon it will also meet an end worse than that of The League of Nation.

In the address of Jumma prayer sermon at Jamia Masjid Jafariya, Allama Sadiqi demanded the death sentence for the American priest. He stressed that if UNO really is a promoter of international peace and Human Rights, it should take serious notice of the tyranny being carried out in different states of America, because if the abuses done inside America are telecast, it will be a great source of shame for America. How can a country which could not stop a priest from committing a terrorist act demand the closure of extremism from any other country?

On the same occasion in the presented resolutions it was stressed that if President Obama had any shame, he would have tendered his resignation after the blasphemy of Quran. Islam teaches respect for all the prophets and all the divine books but in the West the way the prophet and the Sacraments of Islam are being blasphemed, solemn actions could be taken against these countries if the Muslim World demonstrated faith, but alas, in spite of possessing natural resources, leaders of the Muslim countries do not have the intellect and are demonstrating cowardice because the supporter of an oppressor is always coward. Nations which cannot protect their sacraments have no right to exist.

In the resolution it was stressed that courageous nations never let their culture and history die. Thus if the Muslim nation wants survival they should work on the reconstruction of the demolished sacraments of Janat ul Baqi and Janat ul Mu’alla. The cause of the miserable condition of the Muslims is because of disrespecting the tombs of Ahlabait (pbut), companions and the wives of the Holy Prophet. If the Aal e Saud admit their mistake and rebuild  Janat ul Baqi and Janat ul Mu’alla and let Muslims worship according to their own beliefs, their name will be coined with the golden words in the history. The current situation, however, is that thousands of people are in jails in Saudi Arabia accused of demanding their rights, Muslims from all other schools of thought are not allowed to worship in different key places according to their beliefs, to the point that one cannot even kiss the shrine of the Holy Prophet with respect. On the other hand the legal authenticity of the processions and assemblies against these acts are being challenged by the Muftis. Today’s procession is asking the Muftis that if questioning about the protesting of beliefs is forbidden, then should it be silently approved the action of the burning of the Holy Quran by American priest?

Honored Muslim nation will not remain neutral on this blasphemy and  will always be ready to present sacrifices for the sanctity of the Quran, Ahlabait, mothers of the faithful, companions of the Holy Prophet and sacraments of Islam
