Lahore, March 20: Mudassir Manzoor has been nominated as president Mukhtar Students Organization (MSO) Hajveri University Lahore on Friday. A meeting of MSO had held at Hajveri University Lahore presided by provincial president of MSO Imran Haider Naqvi while the senior MSO leader Syed Zain Haider was also present there. The meeting was attended by a large number of students. The progress to achieve the goals of the organization was discussed and some important decisions were taken in regard to re-organize the units in the different varsities and collages of the city. On to the performance of Mudassir Manzoor, Imran Haider nominated him as new president of Hajveri University Lahore which was endorsed by the participant students of the Hajveri University Unit. Addressing to the meeting Imran Haider said that MSO would continue its struggle to solve the problems of the students and would not hesitate to give any sacrifice in this regard. He said that the aim of the MSO is to introduce the teaching of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh & hhp) and his impeccable progeny – the Ahl-ul-Bayt (pbut). Mudassir Manzoor in his speech said that he will utilize all his energies for the mission of Wila-o-Aza. He make it clear that Pakistan came into being in result of the struggle of all school of thoughts of Islam adding that to bring the peace in country the provision of rights of all the sects on equal basis is mandatory. The participants of the meeting reiterated their full support and faith on the leadership of Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. In a resolution, Drone attack by the U.S. on Peace Jirga in Datta Khel (Waziristan) was strongly condemned and declared it an attack on Pakistan’s integrity and solidarity and urged the government to raise this issue at the United Nations demanding stoppage of Drone attacks forthwith. In another resolution, brutality on Bahraini protestors and the entrance of Saudi Arabia and UAE forces in Bahrain was condemned and declare it aggression against the people of Bahrain. The resolution expressed sorrow over the silence of the UN and other world organizations in this regard and their criminal silence therefore was condemned. The participants also condemned the fatwa of Saudi Arabia Mufti against the protest which is equal to suppressing public opinion. |
