RAWALPINDI, March 17: With reference to the announcement of Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi to commemorate the birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (pbuh), programs of Aalamgeer Ayyam-e-Askari continued on third day i.e. Wednesday also. On this occasion, programs of Mahafil e Meelad were arranged in and outskirts of Rawalpindi. While addressing to these programs, Ulema and Zakireen termed the following of footsteps of Imam Hassan Askari (pbuh) a guarantee to succeed here and the hereafter.

A markazi mehfil-e-Meelad was held at Aza khana Masooma-e-Qum (pbuh), under the auspices of Hayet Talba e Islamia. While addressing to the mehfil, the central secretary information of TNFJ, Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said that the sacred family members of the holy Prophet (Peace be upon him and his progeny), confronted the darkest eras of cruelty and barbarism and introduced the humanity with the true spirit of Islam. He said that there teachings if acted upon are the best guide to make this world a hub of peace.

In his address to the mehfil, Mufti Basim Abbas Zahiree said that Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (pbuh) successfully confronted more than six brutal and vicious dictators of his era and as a result of his efforts, deen-e-Muhammadi flourished and ornamented. He reminded that to deal with the heinous conspiracies of Iblees (devil), following the holy character of Imam Hassan Askari (pbuh) is the best option. He said that today, the whole world is faced with terrorism, bloodshed has become a routine while the oppressed has lost hope therefore, it is time that the oppressed and have-nots must develop a joint strategy to overcome their common problems. After recitation of the holy Quran by Syed Amir Hussain Bukhari, the mehfil was also addressed by Syed Jaun Ali Shah Mashhadi, and Mohsin Bilali, while Rana Zeeshan Haider, Qasid Hussain Shah, and Syed Mustansar Hussain Naqvi, presented manqbats in respect of the holy Imam (pbuh).

While addressing to the Mehfil-e-Askari at Shoab e Abi Talib (pbuh) which was held under the auspices of Anjuman Kaneezan-e-Imam al Asr waz Zaman,  Apaa Syeda Hussain said that Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (pbuh) laid a strong foundation to protect the message of Tauheed o Risaalat and his teachings and sacrifices bestowed the sacred message of Islam with full bloom. She said that Imam Hassan Askari (pbuh) explained the guiding principles for the betterment of society, in terms of justice and fairplay, tolerance, and forbearance by his holy character. Syeda Zainab Alvia, Syeda Lewaa-e-Zainab and others also addressed the mehfil.
